1) (url to image) [/ i m g] (without the spaces in the tags) 2) That's a good question...I dunno. 3) Like so: (word) [/ u r l] (no spaces in the tags, also, just use the raw URL, no quotes.)

How do I link to a single post? Quote the post. Click preview. Right click on the section of text reading "Today at X:YZ," and copy the link.

2) That's a good question...I dunno. Paste the address between URL tags like so: [url]http://fstdt.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=lounge&action=display&thread=2523&page=1#87524[/url] fstdt.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=lounge&action=display&thread=2523&page=1#87524A better example for IMG tags: [img]http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/6350/1214940619078.jpg[/img] And URL tags: [url=http://www.google.com/]Google[/url] GoogleAlso, there's a character limit on URL and IMG tags, so host your own images and use something like TinyURL if you've got a really long address.

Is there any way we can combine these two threads as sort of a FAQ thread?

Eh? The only thing missing in Oriet's thread is an explanation of using the Link to Post feature.

Eh? The only thing missing in Oriet's thread is an explanation of using the Link to Post feature. True. I think I'm just being obsessive. It happens sometimes. Marc
