Seeing wall street people attempt to function in the real world would be a reality show I might actually watch for the lulz.

I say we lock em in a random jail's drunk tank for a day or two. The stench will -never- come off.

Is he saying that they'd do their jobs for a hundredth or less of what they're currently paid?

Is he saying that they'd do their jobs for a hundredth or less of what they're currently paid? I've been saying for a while that there should be a ratio of pay. CEOs can have the multi million dollar salaries, but the flipside is that anyone of their employees cannot make less than 10% of that (as a f'rinstance). I'd include bonuses and golden parachutes in that as well. I consider myself a conservative, but I really do think the huge executive salaries in some companies, while their bottom rung employees can afford food or fuel but not both is more obscene than anything you'd find on 4chan.

OK, you wanna know why people are pissed? HERE'S WHY:[/size] Note on this next one that the worse the country does, the better the 1% has it as a percentage of income.....And it just gets better for the rich. Here's what the GOP did in the last year with tax cuts....Check out this next one. All those things in light blue? The ones with the greatest, longest term positive impact on employment? Those are all the things the Republican Party vehemently opposes at all costs. And if you DO lose your job, the USA is NOT the country to be in when it happens...Remember how it's all TARP and recovery spending and shit that the Republicans claim are responsible for the deficit? Well that just ain't true....And congress isn't going to do anything to reign in the shameless slant of government policy towards the rich. Why not? Well, see, they ARE the rich...Well, that's not entirely true. The Democrats might be willing to do something about it, but they can't. The Republicans won't let them. And the Republicans don't really give a shit about unemployment anyway, since it's hitting urban centers the hardest, and those tend to be Democratic areas...And that, my friends, is why people are pissed off. That is why they are willing to sit outside all winter to try to get some attention to the problem. The USA is rapidly descending into pre-French Revolutionary elitist neo-feudalism. That the serfs are eventually going to be out for blood.
You can only piss on the heads of the people and tell them it's raining for so long before they catch on and cut your dick off.

I'm can't actually go to the protest, but I think that this would be very appropriate for a sign.

I know it's within the game's rules, but it makes no sense. In the first half of the game, it's simpler to just pay the $50 bail, while in the latter half of the game, it's actually better to stay in jail.

Yeah...its like they're completely and totally blind to history, even the history of their own country. What happened when the colonists down here got fed up with King George's crap? They revolted. What happened when the French commoners got sick and tired of being fucked by the nobility? They revolted. What happened when the Russian proletariat became incensed with the excesses of the bourgeois? They motherfucking revolted.
People will only put up with so much before they just say "fuck it" and kill you.

It's sometimes possible to buy them for less than $50, particularly if one player has two of them.

You've actually stuck around for the hours it takes to get into the latter half of a Monopoly game? I've only actually finished a game twice.
