There's a reason I avoided New Vegas. I saw Bethesda and the other company I'm blocking on now and knew it was going to be buggy as hell.

I've been noticing some cool small touches they've made to the game. For example, one of the birds that sings is the call of an actuall bird, the black capped chickadee, whose call sounds like it's saying "cheeseburger". www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJrlyPFs_-QAlso, I was fighting some vampires and their thralls during one of my quests. I funnelled a couple of the thralls into a narrow passageway and used double handed fire spells to dispose of them. As the last thrall collapsed he whispered "thank you" to me like he had been waiting for death. The next one I could droned "at last". It was kind of creepy, but very cool at the same time.

The dragons have started trolling me now. The last three I've come across have spawned, circled above me for about a minute and flown away.
You just wait till I get the forced land shout, then we shall have ourselves a RECKONING. WITH AXES.

I haven't encountered any real game-breaking bugs in New Vegas. A couple of hardlocks, but that's about it - nowhere near as many problems as I had in F3. Seriously considering getting Skyrim though, it looks awesome from what I've seen of it.

Love the AI, I kill a dragon outside of a town, and people run up and gawk at me when it dies. Makes me feel so special.
Also, not sure how the hell anyone could play a high elf. Bethesda is truly making the High Elves (Technically, the Thalmor) less popular than Wood Elves.

I NEED YOUR SOUUUUUUL!"

A little extra magic skill and mana...whilst taking double damage from magic? FUCK. THAT. Also, I can't stand those haughty, arrogant little fucks. They're also god-awful ugly.

Seriously considering getting Skyrim though, it looks awesome from what I've seen of it. I got it yesterday and so far I'm impressed. I did hit one game breaking bug, though. On the very first puzzle for some reason it wouldn't let me move the pillars. I spent like 45 minutes stuck there trying everything I could think of, only to see none of them work. Then I asked if all you needed to do was turn the pillars and was told yes. Reset fixed it, but man that was annoying as hell.
