I would say Jimmy Neutron, but there are quite a few other fans out there. There was this book, "The Game", that I read at my local library waaaay back in 2004 or so. It was just...interesting to me. I know now that the "we're outbreeding ourselves, our populations are dying and we must DO SOMETHING!" idea is old-hat, but The Game was my first introduction to this dystopian future. I still think some of the things in it were a cop-out (really, you expect me to believe that barely educated street youths know how to make paper, pens, and stuff like that? on an alien world with supplies they know fuck all about? really?) but it was still really interesting for me. I have no idea who wrote it or where to find it now, though, which makes me sad... OOH, there was this other YA book I adored, but I can't remember the author or title. The author did write another book I liked, but I just can't remember her name or the names of the books...UGH!

Also, Twerps, because I can throw a game together quickly, and also quickly create characters, NPC's, etc. It's currently my favorite RPG, along with the Mythic rules for turning any RPG into a solo game.

X Dragoon
A regularly updated webcomic which is sorta like Dragonball Z meets dragons meets Trope Aversion. While it does follow a shonen-manga style plotline, it does manage to avert a few things (Such as the "Humans are Bastards" trope) and, despite its oddball translation, it's really charming.
Despite this, there was literally no trope page for it, not until I came along and decided to start one.
Also, Alfred and Rocky are hot and I'm totally shipping them together.

What comes to mind is Diane Duane but I doubt that's it. Nope, she didn't author any of the books I mentioned. Although I must admit I loved her Star Trek book, "Dark Mirror". Her entire section of my hometown's tiny library was checked out by me 5 times over.

The only ones I can think of right now are Yogscast and Mr Weebl. I know both are pretty famous amongst people like myself who spend half their waking hours online, but to everyone else I'd say they're pretty obscure.

I still listen to some of the "Christian"* bands from my youth that were/still are really good even with some of that baggage. I love Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, He is Legend, Stavesacre, Neon Horse and old ZAO. They are known in the youth group scene but I don't think too much outside of that. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
*or have music that can be co-opted for Jesus or include members that were once in another "Christian" band.
