... vaccines, antidepressants, aspartame, fluoridated water and food preservatives. Oh, and dentists. Can't forget the dentists. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nNzv5siFO8I saw this posted on my friend's sister's Facebook. Sorry if it's a repost. The conspiracy theories start at about 3 minutes in. Instead of going with the obvious explanation for consumer chaos on Black Friday -- people putting themselves in a situation where they're getting high on their own brain chemistry & subject to mob mentality -- this guy wants us to believe that they only behave this way because some evil, shady people are poisoning everyone for profit. Or something. He then goes on to yap about the Federal Reserve and the US dollar failing, demolishing society as we know it. The obvious problem with this argument is that people have been capable of this kind of behavior since the dawn of time, long before antidepressants, fluoride, etc. were ever used on humans, but there's also some wonderful junk science and misrepresentation of fact to ensure that you're thoroughly irritated by the time the video ends. Enjoy.

Ugh. I have a friend who, while otherwise smart, believes that aspartame causes cancer, and that the FDA is a corrupt organization paid off by pharmaceutical companies to fudge reports on aspartame. He is very adamant on this and refuses to listen to any evidence I present, even going so far as to call snopes a "tenth page google result" before even looking at it.
We decided to stop talking about politics and stuff like that altogether -_-

Oh, he gets his information from Mike Adams. That explains it.

I've had chemo, vaccinations, flouride, etc. and I hate crowds and sales of any kind whatsoever.

That's just the fluoride working its magic.

If I didn't see this guy's other videos and read the comments, I could've sworn this was some kind of Poe.
He sounds just like my dad (who bears a striking resemblance to Alex Jones) - but this guy is even cornier in how he phrases things. "The animalistic instinct"... "more to the story"... Why can't he just be direct like my dad and say, "The U.S. government and Big Pharma, which are run by the homosexual Bilderberg cult, are putting fluoride into the water to make people dumber and more susceptible to brainwashing through psychiatry and HAARP mind control waves."
This guy I give a 10/10 for drama, but only a 7/10 for being easy to understand.
However, as a person with ADHD, I really can't help but RAEG[/u][/i][/color] when people say that ADHD isn't "a real disorder". I'm not denying that it's stupid to diagnose toddlers as "hyperactive", but I do protest against the attitude that ADHD is a nonexistent, imaginary problem. You can't tell who has ADHD and who doesn't just by looking at them. It's an "invisible disability", and in the cases of many people, impacts their work quite a bit. Without guidance and some mild supplements, it would be very difficult to pay attention to class or to my homework. You know what ADHD kids were called before the diagnosis was "invented"? They were called "bad apples" and were considered inherently dumb and incapable of learning. Sometimes they were punished for not paying attention - for having a brain problem that was not their doing. Never mind that ADHD kids are just as intelligent as neurotypical children, just a bit more distractible.

You know I'm not a fan of Big Phama, but I doubt they're the cause for people acting like assholes on Black Friday.

So the massive mob mentality is not caused by America having an actual day called black Friday which symbolizes the official start of the Christmas shopping period, but by a million random chemicals. You know, the single easiest way to debunk conspiracy theories is that they give the conspirator too much credit. No human is smart enough to pull the stuff they think the do, and the chances of them doing it successfully decreases with the more people you add.

Fun fact: I'm diagnosed with ADHD. One thing that helped me pay attention and concentrate in college was actually really simple... Spinning my chair around, when I could :V when I couldn't, I found something else active to do. The teachers didn't complain, none of the other students complained, and my grades most certainly didn't complain. I dunno if that's just a quirk of mine, thou gh :V

Cue me getting six things done in the span of two hours that normally would have taken a couple days.

Also it ticks me off that conspiracy theorists complain about vaccines and fluoride in the water supposedly making people stupid. They drink the same water that the rest of us do. And if their parents were smart, they were probably vaccinated as a child. But it seems to be universal among conspiracy theorists that they believe they are superior to the mindless sheeple hordes. Somehow, fluoride and vaccines screwed up everyone... except them.
