Again: What is the ideal goal for all of you? To have all gender labeling erased from clothing, making all clothing considered unisex? To eliminate separate men's and women's departments in stores? Paint for me the picture of the ideal world for you in this regard Nah. Some clothes will fit one sex better than another (on average), that's not a bad thing. The problem is the restriction of types of clothes by gender. But that's not even the major problem. I'd be perfectly fine with some types being considered typically female and others typically male, as long as crossdressing was just considered a matter of gender expression, and particular gender expressions didn't carry social penalties. I am, of course, speaking for myself.

Who are you and why should we care what you think? (Rat sees that foolishwisdom's account has been deleted already, and shrugs.) I guess we'll never know now.

Regarding the point that women's clothes fit women better and men's clothes fit men better: xdress.com/Traditionally feminine style clothes (lingerie, specifically) tailored to fit men. I'm just saying.

It is not, in my opinion, acceptable for any boy to wear dresses in public. Standards of our current society, sure - but societies standards change and often young people are the first to recognize this. Hope you rescind your fashion-police ways by the time the kids are in their teens or they'll give you seven different kinds of hell. If you do continue to pester them into their adolescence and they turn on you like rabid pit-bulls, can you please blog about it here so the rest of us can be suitably entertained? :-D

Cestle, most of your argument boils down to "it doesn't fit my culturally dictated standards of norm". You do realize that's a faulty argument because cultural norms are malleable, right?

I'm just saying. Huh. That actually makes a noticeable difference. At least if the sexy stud on the front page is anything to go by.
