So, we should send Paul a joint, a tie-dye kit, and some Grateful Dead albums? Naah, send him some old Jefferson Airplane. It's trippier. "One pill makes you larger and one pill makes you small..." I love that band.

Nukes powered by the Cosmic Cube mind you. And this is why I worry about Cosmic Cube proliferation on the global scene.

Short of the long: High altitude bomber that could take nukes to the entire eastern seaboard of the US. That would be it. Germany had designs and plans, but never got behind it. Still the idea was revolutionary. Course all ideas had to be run past Hitler, the man who refused to make cheaper, easier to make stamped guns because they looked ugly. It was by complete luck the designers of the STG44 got away with it.

Hard to advance when your guns during the war were rather pieces of shit. Is what I mean.

There was dissent in declaring war on Japan in '41 (and Germany et al. in '17), specifically from Jeannette Rankin, a Congresswoman from Montana. I can kind of understand 1917, where there wasn't anything like a direct attack, but in 1941 I wonder what she expected us to do about Japan. Ignore them and let them sink our ships?

To be fair, most of the superweapons would have been effective as a psychological weapon if nothing else. I know a lot about the built and planned weapons, and if nothing else they at least sounded like a badass idea. Here a list off memory
Built 1. V1 flying bomb 2. V2 rocket, only weapon to kill more of its own side than the enemy, though it was slave laborers that died so it was probably intentional. 3. V3 long-range gun, built but never used if I remember right. 4. Schwerer Gustav and Dora 800mm railway guns. (My personal favorite)
Planned 1. P.1000 Ratte super tank, it was going to use a battleship turret for main armament. 2. P.1500 Monster super tank, it was going to use the aforementioned Dora gun a it's main gun, it would also have suitable number of AA guns. 3. Silbervolgal sub-orbital bomber.
And that's not counting the rumored ones. The allies wanted to build a aircraft carrier out of a giant ice cube.

I remember that aircraft carrier idea. it was proposed to be made of stuff called Pykrete which was apparently 14% sawdust and wood pulp and the rest was ice.

Seems like the sound one would make when you drown because the ship fails to float.

Yuh, bombed by the allies when they discovered it
Heavy cruiser actually, hence the nickname "landkruizer"
Pykrete is very durable. The old rumors of them running a demonstration and wounding a man from the ricochete of the bullet off the pykrete an all. The Allies actually planned to build the thing, but lack of resources and the already turned tables in the Atlantic scrapped the idea. Mythbusters did a show on it too, they built a boat of the stuff and went sailing.

Both the V-1 and the V-2 were used in attacks on Britain to great success: Their psychological application was that they were mainly used on the civilian population and in the case of the V-1, its engine emitted a easily recognized noise: As soon as the engine stopped it meant it was about to hit. The V-2, on the other hand, would arrive without noise or warning.
