They'd be worried that their captain was a secret Klingon. Wait for the inquiry as to whether or not Kirk's an Earth citizen, since he wasn't born on the planet. He also pals around with known mad scientist Montgomerry Scott. In fact, I think the Kobyashi Maru proves that Kirk does not share our values and morality. STARFLEET--CAN WE TOLERATE ANOTHER ACTIVIST CAPTAIN?

STARFLEET--CAN WE TOLERATE ANOTHER ACTIVIST CAPTAIN? There needs to be a Storm Gathering/Star Trek video. Now. A space storm is gathering. And I am afraid. Ohfuckromulans!

I can't see how Starfleet can allow a captain with the name of James TIBERIUS Kirk. Sounds pretty f-----' Romulan to me...the Rapture's gotta come soon, I'm thinking no later than Stardate 226137.</C23rd RR>

Even in the new movie, we as humans serve alongside members of other races proudly. I don't know if that's what conservatives want, since they're so concerned about borders. "can we trust Vulcans with our secure information?" And in the newest film, Kirk shows his acceptance of other species despite his rural upbringing with his willingness to bang a green chick. I was about to ask; "Didn't the new Kirk bang an Orion chick?"

Wow...
So, all science fiction, including the absolutely impossible bits, are divine revelations of future technology given to us by God, and the only reason we don't have them yet is because scientists are lazy and politicians are stupid and hate God.
Of course, there's no real problem with the fact that weapons-scale lasers generate so much heat that they are currently impractical within the atmosphere. Those damned scientists are just trying to spit in God's eye by not letting us have the lasers he so graciously showed us the way to. Warp travel isn't something so incredibly complex (if possible at all) that we simply have no clue how the fuck to do it yet. The government just needs to spend MORE money on military development so they can afford to install all the warp drives they have sitting in storage into our tanks.
Someone just shoot me. x.x;

So did the old Kirk.....I think! Didn't he bang anyone remotely humanoid? Kirk would bang anything with a moist fold and a pulse, and the pulse is optional.

I was about to ask; "Didn't the new Kirk bang an Orion chick?" No you are thinking of Pike who had a human but seriously deformed woman try to seduce him in the form of an Orien slave girl. It was the original pilot, the Cage. Kirk only had one run in with a Orien slave girl on a penal planet for the criminally insane (played by the same actress that played Bat girl on Batman in the 60s) but while she tried sorta to seduce him she was soon killed. Though Kirk did do a woman with pink hair. And another with red hair and skin. And that android from Exo. And that other android on Mudd's planet. And that one chick from Gillead who wanted to catch a disease from him. So ok yeah Kirk was a slut. But he never got to do a green woman until this movie. And yes I am aware I am a dork. But at least I have my own home and get laid semi -regularily.

I grew up on Original Series reruns to the point that I could tell within the first second (I'm actually being quite literal) whether or not I'd seen the episode before and which one it was. I remember quite well of the plot events of "The Cage" as well as "Whom Gods Destroy" and Marta's explosive exit. Hence why I specified "New Kirk," the pasty-faced pretty boy they got who's trying to fill The Shat's epic shoes. That's also why I referred to her as an "Orion Chick" instead of an "Orion Slave Girl" because I doubt Starfleet would allow slavery.

To Kirk's credit, he did turn one woman down in the series. Of course, the fact that she could kill him with a touch is a bit of a turn-off.

As I recall, there were a total of five or six women that Kirk wasn't ripping his pants off over. But I think that was mostly because those women had the hots for Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Chekov, maybe Sulu, and KHAAAAAANNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!
