I keep having dreams that I'm in college, either halfway through or near the end of the semester, and I realize I haven't attended a class or two since the first week. The weird thing is I've been out of college for about 10 years.

I've been having similar dreams about my junior high lately. Oddly enough, it's also been roughly a decade since I attended it. Perhaps reunion invitations are being sent out via dream now?

Last night I dreamed I was Mr Bean and I was chasing down two 1920's gangsters who'd stolen Teddy.

I have a recurring anxiety dream that my swords rust and fall apart. This seems like a geekier version of the "teeth fall out" dream that's so endemic. I think so. Funny, because I don't have the teeth falling out dream.

Okay, so last night I dreamt that I was eating at a fancy restaurant and I was eating a $57 steak and an expensive piece of chicken. However, the service was very rude. The waiter came around once and told me he expected me to have finished my food already. He came around again and swiped my plate from me even though I wasn't done. We paid and I left a nasty note on the table about how shitty the service was.
Another part of my dream had me riding on the MBTA and trying to get two of my friends to come along, but I couldn't, so I hopped into the station myself, and a series of Minecarts pulled up. Like, Minecraft minecarts. So I hopped in one and started going from station to station. And then at one point, one cart had to switch tracks, and there was a piston to do it, but I was scared the piston was going to crush me, so I shut my eyes. But it didn't, and I got off a few stations later in the middle of a park or something.
One of my shorter dream recalls sadly.

In my dream last night, everywhere I went, grizzly bears would show up and try to kill me. The store, my home, the bathroom...

Then the trick is to go where the grizzlies would never think to look for you: deep in the Canadian Rockies.
Er. Which is more or less where you live, I guess.
So you're safe!

Foothills aren't mountains, silly.

Tell that to the people on the eastern seaboard.

Yeah, but aren't you in Washington? No excuses for you!

I'm from Colorado, though; in any case the problem isn't my familiarity with geography, but rather my ignorance as to where Calgary is exactly. Apparently not in the mountains.

It's close, though, so you get a silver star. 2 hours east of the mountains.
Wait, doesn't Colorado have mountains too?

Yes. The Rockies. It was meant to support my "knows about mountains" credentials - Washington mostly has mountain, not mountains - but was phrased exceedingly poorly to accomplish that.

Well, you can still have the silver star.

I will treasure it always, by which I mean until tomorrow afternoon when I pawn it for gas money.
