After talking with Napoleon, I've decided to start a thread so that those of us with Half.com or E-Bay stores could post links. My Half.com storeMost of the items in here are priced to move, and I'll be doing a bunch of new and like new items up there within the next 24 hours or so.

Technically, it's "eBay", not E-Bay. Just sayin'.

Just added several items to my Half.com store.
All of them are brand new and still in the shrink wrap.
If the prices seem high on some of them, that's because Half.com set the prices this time around.
Most of the listed items are classical films and / or musicals, including the 1970s version of "Hair."

Alexis Michael is on eBay!For those who don't know, Alexis is "a good friend" of mine who draws erotic art. One of the pieces for sale right now is too explicit to show on this board. More to come soon, some pretty tame, some pretty explicit.

I have a question for Half.com users. I have six or seven college textbooks that I don't need after this semester is over. Do you think it's better to sell the books online or just sell them back to the book store at school?

Do you think it's better to sell the books online or just sell them back to the book store at school? It depends upon your situation. If you need immediate cash, then go ahead and do the book store. Bear in mind, however, that book buyback is generally designed to royally fuck over college students; you'll generally only get about 25% to 33% of what you paid in the first place, 50% if you're lucky. This is assuming, of course, that they'll even buy your book back in the first place. If you want a fair sum of cash and are willing to wait, then go with Half.com. You can literally name your own price (although the system will sometimes recommend one for you based on recent purchases), but depending upon demand and how much people are willing to shell out it might be a bit before you actually unload them. I myself have had CDs and DVDs sitting up in my store since I first started it over a year ago.

I myself have had CDs and DVDs sitting up in my store since I first started it over a year ago. I think was told by an administrator that the book store will by them back at half price, though I'm assuming that's books I purchased new and are still in excellent condition. I'm hoping to fill out at least a couple dozen applications for scholarships to cover my next semester so we won't be as strapped for cash this time around. Perhaps then I could go ahead and sell everything online. One or two of the book prices I saw on Half.com were actually more expensive than the prices at the book store, though it is the seller's choice.

Try Ebay and bidding, maybe?

Just giving this thread a bump; the holidays are coming, and so you'll need to move fast if you want to make any orders before Christmas.

This is a stickied thread. It doesn't need "bumped".
