I see that a lot of people have nice and shiny Avs... I've tried a couple times to no avail. Am I doing something wrong... or perhaps NOT doing something right? I tried with something from Photobucket, and it didn't work well. I Googled for a picture that was 100 x 100, and found one I could live with for the short term. I don't know, I'm still getting used to the new board.

Working on a new frontpage for the main page, with login, public admin, and almost everything the existing site has. I think I'm missing the search and the top 100, given I've axed quote rating for right now, that's not a huge deal. Only problem, I've got the database stopped so I can upload it(another halfhour atm), so I can't test shit. Hopefully it works, it should, and I can get us up here in a few more.

If I may make a suggestion: when you do get the search feature ironed out, can it be on somewhere more than just the main page? I'd like to see it up in the top navbar with all the other stuff; it'd be much easier to get to that way (clicking one link instead of two).

Not a bad idea, there's going to be a great deal of Navigation and format ironing(since honestly I kinda like these forums) going into the site as fast as I can reasonably manage. Now I just have to figure out how to fit that and the top 100 onto the bar... probably just reduce the font size huh...

Thanks so much for keeping things going. I haven't a clue what's been happening but appreciate your efforts. I suppose I've taken FSTDT for granted in as much I thought it would always be there like the walls off my house but, of course, considerably more entertaining.
it's one of the funniest and most entertaining sites out there. Don't know what I can do, but if I can let me know and I'll try.

Thumbs (opposable ones) way up for Distind. Once you get fstdt.net up and running, throw a paypal donate link or something; loyal readers here should kick in some cash as well as our props and e-steak and potatoes as one commenter above rightly added. One consolation is the raptard rumbly crowd will see this as a sign from, um, Yahweh and provide us with more gold for the mine. I agree with this. I'm as computer illiterate as your average RR member, but I can spare some greenbacks now and again to keep my beloved Fundies site up and running. Seriously, Distind, consider it.

No rushing, Distind... FSTDT is like a fine wine and we understand if it takes a while to... well... ferment. hehe Yes, but the quotes therein are more like vinegar - the longer they sit, the more my eyes burn! -- sending much coffee and cookies to Distind, hang in there!

Take your time. The faster you rush the more mistakes you make. Yea, but this was me compressing the file size. Actually with how I've got things setup locally, once the database actually imports it shouldn't take me all to long to get everything else up. I just have to change some database connection info and we should be good. Should...

"Should" can be a very scary word here...
Just make sure to double (or triple) check things. A couple minutes making sure it should be right can save a few hours of it doing something that you didn't need/want it to do. Can. Yes, how vague. And you likely know all of that already.
Anyways, good luck Distind, and may the penguins be with your coding.

I can't tell if it's available, I can't tell if it's not letting me login, nothing... That said, I'm out for the night... my apologies guys, but I've filed a support ticket to see if it can get resolved. If I had my own server I probably could figure this out in five minutes, but i'm getting it hosted because I don't have nearly enough bandwidth to feed you guys. If it isn't fixed by noon tommorrow, I'll be jumping down some support guy's throat to get your dose of fundie to you.
