Some of those Democrats should just be considered Republicans the way they act.
Ironbite-the Blue Dog Dems are the real problem here, not the Republicans.

Even with the knowledge that it was only a form letter, I somehow have more respect for the Senator. Handwritten letters to senators, and congressmen have to be responded to by law...better than a form letter

I filled it out, but if I do write to my representatives it's going to be handwritten.
I'll probably write to Sen. Al Franken, for the sake of possibly getting an autograph, and maybe Michelle Bachman (even though she isn't from my district) so I can get a response showing how crazy she is.

I think this is a good idea, I hope everyone who reads this thread does it.
I am glad to see Burris showing his support, even if I don't like how he got his seat. I'm going to write to Sen. Durbin and Rep. Halvorson. Last time I sent a message to Debbie Halvorson I got an e-mail reply. She's definitely got my future vote (Unless I'm out of this district by that time.)
I'd like to figure out if we are having one of those town hall meetings that are so popular nowadays. I'd like to show support, even if this is a liberal district (gods know they like to bus people in.) Where could I figure this sort of stuff out?
