Oh, you'll be right around the corner from my office then. And duh, what the hell is wrong with me, I see the Chicago Theater every time I go to Potbelly's or Jamba. Oh fuck yeah! I eat at Potbelly's all the time when I'm too lazy to cook. Sometimes I lie and tell them I didn't get the extra cheese and meat (when they forget to write it on the bag) so it saves me a buck.

Lol, nice.
I didn't know Art Institute had dorm space, but it makes sense that that's what all that living space along State Street is used for.

Well they only have that one I'm going to be in that's above Borders, and one a little farther south on Madison and State. Also, I don't know if you do it, but I hate it when people get the School of the Art Institute of Chicago mixed up with the Art Institute of Illinois. Mine's awesome, the other one is on par with Devry. So sometimes when I tell people I go to SAIC, they think I must suck balls as an artist. And thanks Hades I did that when I was a freshman in HS. Can't believe it's been 8 years since I was a freshman. WhereTF did time go?

No, I know the difference.
One has a kick ass museum that's free on Tuesdays. The other has shitty commercials that I have to fast forward through.
I think most of that space in the block that Borders and Potbellys are on is dorm space for the various colleges down here or corporate apartments, to be honest.

I just listened to one of my favorite albums from 10 years ago and it really blew my mind how fast the time has passed. It's kind of scary, actually.

Now, for a grand tour of my living quarters! Here is the view when you look in from the door. My awesome bike, along with the clothes hamper and my work shoes. Here is my nightstand, along with quite a mess. That red thing next to the nightstand is a handmade bamboo kite. It's an awesome red bat. Closeup of my nightstand. The gray plush cat is named Mittens (She's my very first stuffed animal), the otter next to her is Otto. Computer wipes, rolaids, cellphone, and the white mouse looking thing is my mouse cheese grater. The bottom wont fit any more, so I now use it to store small snacks in. Also, the long black box thing is chopsticks. They are too big for me, though. My bed, in all it's messed-up glory! I bet you can never guess my favorite color. XD My calendar can also be seen on the wall back there. This is what is above my bed. Just a dream-catcher that my friend bought me when he visited his mom in Arizona, and a charcoal piece I did back in my senior year of high school. Since I don't have a book shelf, I keep my books in neat piles on the floor. As you can see, I, just like some of the other members, own some harry potter books. There is also a magazine where I buy my chef coats from, and the Memoirs of a Geisha book (I read it years before the movie, back in 2001). You can also see my trusty fan, gamecube, N64, DVD player, super old TV, and if you look closely in the left corner at the pile of moons and stars, you'll see my apron that I use when baking at home. My backpack, knife roll (the black cylindrical thing behind it), box o' random art supplies, and even the edge of a DS game package. Some more art. Only the picture of the Geisha is not my artwork. ...aaaaaand, that's it. :3

What you say when you first enter my room; not a hell of a lot. Posters on the left hand side. A fish tank that serves as my official junk table. My old Creative Zen Touch, a Viewfinder I got with Robot Chicken, Game Boy, iPod charger, shitty prom keep sake with picture of crazy ex, Clapton CD, Wiimote Jacket, miniature trashcan filled with pens and pink scissors, GB Game adapter from the N64 remote, Brain Age 2, Xbox 360 Headset, pay stub and assorted electric cords. My bookshelf, PS2 controller, DVD case, empty Eclipse gum...thing, trash can with two empty boxes of Lemonheads, change cup, my Yamaha Pacific. My other guitar is hiding somewhere back there. Close-up of bookshelf. Lots of YA books, but my collection is nothing compared to other peoples. My dusty ass TV stand. Also, a jar of strawberry preserves my boss bought me that I'm never going to eat and that'll sit there forever until they forment. Where the magic happens...or happened once...like three years ago...*sigh* I need to get laid. My...night table? For lack of a better term. More books. I don't wear any of these clothes. She protects me.

OK, the living room: Music posters. On the end table: Candles and lots of beads; my instruments in their cases. Books, music books and other miscellany on the coffee table. I also have an old TV. Think I got it my first year of college. Book shelf #1: The Snoopy and piano music box belonged to my grandma, who died a few months ago. I have most the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, because they're funny as all get-out, and I have almost half of the Jack Sparrow ones. W00t. Also a few classics. And on the bottom all my other music lesson books that aren't currently sitting on the coffee table being worked on. Oh and some photo albums as well. Book shelf #2: I also have the entire HP in hardcover. Second shelf: cat stories, lots of them. Third shelf: a fuckton of cookbooks and cooking magazines. Bottom shelf: art supplies. And a paper shredder. I need another bookshelf though as I have more but nowhere to put them. I have the Chronicles of Narnia in one book, which I loaned to my mom to read. That needs to go somewhere. "Dining" area. Yes, it's a pirate flag. Shut up. ;D Kitchen barely big enough to turn around in. My cat Ozzy's room. My bedroom. I have blankets lying all over because it's often been too hot for a quilt one night and too cold for just a sheet the next so I never bothered to put them in the closet. The others are ones that were in my car, which I don't have anymore. I like my curtains--two hunks of pretty fabric, attached with plastic clothes pins. ;D There you have it, the grand tour of Aqualung's abode.

This is my humble, messy, and tiny room. Behold the chaos in which I live. My desktop, where I spend most of my day. JOSS WHEDON! Shot glasses, flask and CDs. Bookcase with Joss stuff balanced on top. My litany of hair and skin shit. Broken arm, cast, and air conditioner. DVDs, CDs, ancient DVD player and more ancient turntable. Underwear drawer which doubles as an impromptu shelf. Swords, trophies, and the best beer I've ever had. Under my computer desk. Yes, that is an original playstation. My bed. Where the magic would happen if I could get laid. I stood an egg on end just to prove I could. Not the solstice! My larger desk area. My bed, again. Drawers, DVD player, and old-ass locker. My floor. The hamper has clean clothes in it. I am that lazy. Opeth and Bloodbath posters. Nightwish and Lamb of God posters. John Lennon poster w/ lyrics to "Imagine." I never really show them in the pics, and I lost the dust jackets to almost all of them years ago, but nearly the entire HP collection is scattered around my room. My Joss collection is perched on HBP and GoF and Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.

Before I go into my dorm room, I just wanna say this: Tai, your room is awesome. I have never seen so much win in one place at one time. You now have a fangirl. As for my room, this is my Dorm Room, so it's not got alot. And these pictures are a bit out of date, but My room is currently a lot messier, so this looks better. My Dorm Room from the entrance way. You can see my TV, Computer Desk, Bed, stuffed animals, couch and chair. Yes, all the big furniture is the school's. >.> My room from a different angle. That's the Pokemon Platinum Version Player's Guide on the table. It's affectionately called the "Platinum Bible". My Grandma made that quilt for me, and oh, you can see my toilet. Hi, toilet. The opposite to the first picture. You can see my kitchen, couch, and door. And a basket. That's my favorite basket. *hugs basket* From my bed! You can see my Wii. >.> And the stuff I just leave on that table in the corner. I guess I don't need that table. Whatever. Rwar, Giratina! A Poster from the Platinum Bible. I took a close up. My attempt at a farther shot. It sucks. Bleh. And I don't use the coffee maker that came in that set. The toaster's fine, though. A picture of the bunny painting above my couch. Yes, it's blurry as all hell. >.> My couch. Aww, Pikachu is sleepin'... Let's not wake him. Let's move on. A blurry view of my computer desk. If you could see it right now, you'd see me typing! Hi, internet! Sketch of an angel I got at the Renaissance Fair last year. I was on an angel kick around them. Blame Tales of Symphonia. I haven't decided if the angel is male or female. It has the long hair, but those muscular shoulders make me think otherwise... My small bunny collection! Yes, I'm aware that there are several non-bunnies up there. From left to right, the non-bunnies are Ralts, Hello Kitty in a Bunny Costume, Pikachu, Shadow Lugia, and Pikachu. And yes, I do own all three Egyptian God Cards. A better look at my "gaming set up". >.> At least I have a PS2 there now. Although with internet eating a lot of my time, I don't play very often. And that bible hasn't been opened since I got here. My kitchen, home of the food. Yum, food. Well, that's my appartment on campus. I live by myself because.. well, reasons. >.> I hope you enjoyed your stay!
