Seriously, you Aussies go nuts with the food on Christmas. This is my cousin's description of the meal she's going to have:
Argh.
Edit: Also, you new avatar is a significant improvement over the old one.

*wipes up all the drool* Dare I hope that this cousin of yours is even remotely single?

Not even remotely As in, married with kids. It's actually her husband who's doing most of the cooking, so I'll be sure to set you up with him if they ever divorce

(Also, thanks for the offer, but I've already got a couple boyfriend candidates, and I'd rather try to be with at least one of them first. )

Rat: If you feel the need to join my family, you can always date my mom. I'm sure she'll give you plenty to eat. Well, they immigrated over from England in childhood, so they're sort of "boat people", as you lot call them. Not true Aussie. They took your jobs.

Shane: Ah, well. I mostly want to get officially sorted, once and for all. The fan quizzes that constantly put me in Gryffindor piss me off, I just need validation from Jo. But fuck her if I end up in Gryffindor. Annoyance: I thought I'd figured out my gender identity, mostly, but then I wore a swooshy skirt and got my first manicure and liked them both a lot and I'm back at square one with the confusion.

How much is "a lot?" Because doubting your gender over enjoying the feel of a skirt and a manicure...confuses me. Mostly because I'd probably enjoy them, too, and am fairly set in my being both male and straight.

Liked them a lot in that "I never thought I'd like something so disgustingly 'girly' but they are AWESOME".
I dunno, probably stupid of me to get panicked over it. I still don't feel like what I think either women or men are 'supposed' to feel like, but I don't actually KNOW what women or men are 'supposed' to feel like, only that cis-gendered people tend to be strongly tied to their...bits.
I AM panicking over a lot of things lately anyway (staying with my crazy parents will do that to me) so maybe it's just an extension of that.
I don't KNOW. I think that's the worst part.

Damn...perhaps you'll get some time apart from 'em for a bit. If, for nothing else, to give you time to think things out in relative peace and quiet. I know not having that for a fair piece (or too much of it) will drive me fucking loopy.

That would just be redundant, considering that I'd already posted a "my mother" joke. Let's talk about your mom instead.
