Valsa
There are so many things i pick up in your answers. Many you will not accept as needing help with, so i will spare you my analysis and go to things you don't know of. How often do you have dreams of falling? and where are you falling from? what do you see? who do you see? who pushed you? or why did you jump?
dreams of flying? where are you flying to? and from? what are you wearing? and is there a cord attached to you? if you were to look at the color grey from 1-10 how dark would it be?
what made you pass out? and what did you feel
when playing pokemon and losing time do you remember the details of the game? does it feel like you are watching yourself play? Do you ever feel like you're watching a movie of your life?

Oh hey, a Collective Soul fan ^_^ Hee! Collective Soul’s 7Even Year Itch (a “Greatest Hits” collection) is one of the very few CDs I actually own. I became a fan after seeing a lovely Cowboy Bebop AMV set to “The World I Know”. Hmm… now that I think about it, it seems that most of my non-mainstream music tastes come from watching AMVs. Because I am a lemming. Valsa, Have you ever had that not-so fresh feeling in the morning? In honor of the original Leviathan-related quote from FSTDT, I was going to make a “Well, the Leviathan is a sea demon and I certainly smell fish…” joke, but that’s gross, even for me. It makes it a little more tolerable, since sometimes she's all about antidepressants for depression, then the next minute people don't love their spouses anymore because of DEMONS. It's nice that your mom's okay with medication, at least for some things. I can't help but cringe when uber-religious people encourage others not to use any psych medication whatsoever (I do understand that pills work better for some people than others, that everyone has a different reaction, and that some have very bad experiences with anti-depression/anxiety/psychotic meds but to tell very sick people to dismiss them completely is dangerous) That's the kind of thing that leads to an Andrea Yates-type tragedy. Aw, but red eye is fun. I like to edit pictures from my digital camera so that only the people I don’t like have red eye. Because I’m petty and mean. I’ve never heard of it being used as evidence of demons though. Seeing as anyone can arbitrarily have red eye in a photo, I guess it makes just as much sense for that to be indicative of a demonic presence as anything else. @ Nautical- The problem I have with you “picking up” things from my answers is that several of your questions ask about universal experiences. Who hasn’t had a nightmare? Who hasn’t been picked on? Who hasn’t been hurt by someone? These are all part of the human condition. I also recognize other techniques in your quiz- they’re tailor-made to hone in on the weaknesses of vulnerable people. I’m reminded of the show Crossing Over With John Edward (I don’t watch it myself but I’m familiar with the premise) though I’m sure you won’t appreciate the comparison. John Edward is a “psychic” who claims he can speak with dead people and does readings for his studio audience by becoming a channel that someone’s loved ones can supposedly speak through. Nine times out of ten, he and people like him, will start with something like, “I’m getting a strong ‘J’ feeling” or “I’m seeing an ‘M’ name” The reason for that? The two most common names in the U.S. are “James” and “Mary”. He knows the statistical probability is good that if he pulls out one of those two letters, someone’s gonna take the bait. Going back to your quiz, I see the same thing occurring. I’m going to assume that this quiz is mostly given to people who, unlike me, have come looking for answers and already have a set personal problem in mind. All your quiz is doing is throwing out questions about the most likely problems that these people have come looking for an answer to, knowing that you’re more than likely going to hit a bull’s-eye with one of them or another. Phony psychics use that technique and so do cults. Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, as to your actual questions about my answers- I’ve had maybe 4 or 5 dreams about falling my entire life. One was just me falling from nowhere, with no context. I later woke up to find I’d rolled off my bed, so I’m going to assume that was a case of a real world situation influencing my dream. Two of the falling dreams were tied to my dreams about flying. In one of the flying dreams, I was holding onto a giant kite and in the other I was just flying without any apparent means of doing so. The funny thing is that in the two flying-related dreams, I had fun falling. I like that weightless feeling you get in free-fall (I don’t mind turbulence when I’m flying on a place for the same reason) In the dreams I’d fall a little while, then start flying again, then fall again. The only one that could be considered a true nightmare was when someone was chasing me through my old elementary school. I ran outside to a balcony and jumped off (I was going to jump to a lower balcony and then to safety) but at the last second, whoever was chasing me (I never saw them) grabbed my leg, which threw off my jump. I ended up going past the edge of the lower balcony and falling all the way to the ground. It’s interesting to note that I actually did hit the ground before I woke up, thereby proving to me that the old superstition, “If you die in your dreams, you die for real” is false. But, seeing as I’d just watched “The Grudge” for the first time earlier that week, I’m not surprised that I had a nightmare like that. If you really want evidence of something not right in my head- I once had a dream that I was on a double-decker tour bus as part of the harem of a intergalactic basketball team comprised only of fish-people and our pimp was Seto Kaiba from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh. If you can figure out what demon that dream came from, you might be onto something. “if you were to look at the color grey from 1-10 how dark would it be?”I’m not even sure how that relates to anything. There are, literally, shades of grey. There are light greys (to almost white) and dark greys (to almost black), so “grey” could be anywhere between 1 and 10. “what made you pass out? and what did you feel”Almost pass out. Almost. Big difference. It was probably caused by being in an overheated truck with my mother’s jackass ex-boyfriend and his horrible, over-used cologne. I liken it to feeling as if my body was where it normal is, but my head was all “floaty”- like a balloon on a string above the rest of me. The Pokemon thing was a joke (because usually people get so caught up in playing the game they aren’t paying attention to the passing of time) Yes, I remember the details of the game and the tedious work of level-grinding. No, I don’t watch myself play and no, it’s never felt like I’m watching a movie of my life. Barring the times I’m forced to actually watch home movies.

lonlocust If i could tell you what your mother sees and hears would you believe it isn't a mental illness but a demonic presence? Why would anyone believe that? A persons mind can make them perceive things that are not really there, or not really happening. See any number of optical illusions for proof of that. ...or chemical imbalances, but what do science know? I have traumatic experiences from my past. I'm not hearing voices. Nautical while you are polite you are still very much ignorant.

m52nickerson
when there are hundreds of thousands of people seeing the same thing it is not some chemical imbalance but a spiritual issue that needs to be addressed.
Do you have dreams of your traumatic experiences? And in them do you see yourself as the age of when it happened?

the only thing i have picked up is doorways for demons to come in. Not some long dead aunt who wants to talk to you. pinky promise, soul tie with all of your ex girlfriends rejection from classmates the divorce of your parents which could give access to abandonment and rejection, the unforgiveness you hold towards people pointing out flaws of others shows insecurity in self, fear of heights, spiders and dogs, anger, sweaty palms from fear of people, a curse from your mom, pornography, family addictions, wicca, neopaganism, buddhism, ouija board, horoscopes, and touching your dead great grandmother. see with someone who has come for help we would go through renunciations on these things and others and see where God leads us after that usually into forgiving those who have hurt them and so on. with you this is going to be different. So sit back and relax and i will pray about what to do next.

Ah, any friend of lesbianism is a friend of mine- pics are just bonus.
Alas, I have no personal lesbian pics, but I do lurk on enough yuri websites to have a modest collection of that which is about 1/100th the size of my yaoi pics folder

m52nickerson when there are hundreds of thousands of people seeing the same thing it is not some chemical imbalance but a spiritual issue that needs to be addressed. Similar imbalance, similar results. Again your assertions have no scientific backing. No.

valsa the only thing i have picked up is doorways for demons to come in. 1) Soul ties to ex-girlfriends: how, exactly, do I have soul ties to my ex-girlfriends? And how is that any more harmful than if I were heterosexual and would have "soul ties" to ex-boyfriends? 2) Rejection from classmates: unless someone is a only child who was homeschooled their entire lives, there's no one who hasn't had some form of rejection from classmates. Ergo, everyone would have a demon in them. 3) Divorce of parents: with the divorce rate over 50% in this country, that's a whole lot of children who'd have demons in them. I would think Satan’d eventually run out. Also, seeing as my parents fought each other in court because both wanted custody of me, I dare say I didn't exactly feel abandoned or rejected. 4) Not forgiving: Again, I reject your claim that blanket forgiveness is necessary for recovery. If, for instance, one of the people who harassed me at my first high school were to come up to me, apologize, and say that they’ve realized they were wrong, I’d thank them and give an “atta boy” for finally getting their head out of their asses, but that’s it. The fact that they’ve changed doesn’t somehow negate their culpability in willfully trying to hurt me previously, so I’ve no reason to forgive them that. If someone does me harm by mistake however, I see no reason to resent them for that (provided that mistake wasn’t caused by willful ignorance or irresponsibility on their part) and will forgive it. Just because your God supposedly forgives all doesn’t mean I’m required to. 5) Pointing out flaws: shows common sense. When my step-mother tells me all about the newest colon cleansing herbal remedy she wants to try, it doesn’t show insecurity to point out that, as far as the “problem” she’s trying to correct is concerned, Anatomy Doesn’t Work That Way and she’d be wasting her money. It doesn’t show insecurity to point out to my mother that she’s got a habit of “adopting” certain kinds of “strays” (ie- people) to satisfy her pathological need to be needed and desire to help people, which leads to her allowing herself to be used by these people to her own detriment and the eventual breakdown of that relationship (I’m 5 for 5 on that one) It doesn’t show insecurity to remind my mother, when she sends money to my brother to bail him out of yet another problem, that he’s not going to change, no matter how much she thinks “he’s figured it out this time”, and that he’ll just be hitting her up again in another year (10 for 10! I’m like a psychic!) The truth is, if you’re any good at spotting people’s behavioral patterns, you can usually predict, fairly accurately, if an action they take is going to end in success or failure. I just haven’t yet given up on trying to save my loved one’s the pain, hassle, and financial blow that comes with some of their stupider decisions. 6) Fears: I’m pretty sure an innate fear of certain things like spiders, heights, snakes (which I love- chew on that), large predators, the dark, etc has a distinct biological/ evolutionary purpose. Those things can be lethal to humans, either by killing/eating us directly (animals), causing us to be injured or killed (heights), or making it easier for us to be picked off (dark), so it behooves us to stay away from them. And as I said, I don’t remember being afraid of dogs until I got bit by one so that fear’s rather easily explained. 7) Sweaty palms: I should have phrased that better. My palms get sweaty whether I’m in social situations or not. The only time I feel insecure about my sweaty palms is when it actually affects something- like when I’m in a social situation and have to shake hands with someone. All the other times, I don’t care because it’s really not an issue (they’re clammy-sweaty, not soak-your-keyboard-and-short-it-out-sweaty) 8) Curse from mom: If it was a curse, I’ll have to thank her because it seems to have backfired and done the opposite of what she said. My brother’s life sucks and mine is much better. 9) Porn: my philosophy is “As long as it’s not a problem, it’s not a problem”. While I do think that there are people who can take porn, like anything, too far- I don’t think porn itself is a problem. Unless you want to get into the misogyny of porn and how it degrades women. Of course, most of my porn is animated and features two men so… I’m not sure how that fits in. 10) Addictions: Yes, family members of mine have addictions. Of which I share none. Don’t see how you can read anything into that. 11) Wicca, Neopaganism, Buddhism, Ouija Board, and Horoscopes: Whatever, Whatever, You can be a Buddhist Christian, I never used it because it was a gift and I think they’re stupid, and me & everyone but the most fundy of people have read our horoscopes at one time or another. Again, Satan has to be running out of demons by now if that’s the kind of weak stuff people can be possessed from. 12) Touching the dead: I don’t even know what to say to this one. Back before funeral homes and the like gained popularity, people died at home and the body was cleaned and dressed by the family. Even a hundred or so years ago, you’d have been hard pressed to find anyone who hadn’t dealt with a dead body before. Also, my greatgrandmother was 94 years old and one of the greatest testaments to the true spirit of Christianity that I have ever known. Her funeral was basically all about how good of a Christian she was, to the point I was a little annoyed by it (she did other things besides just being a Christian that I wish they would have talked more about) All that being said, I await to hear what God’s game plan is now.

When I was 5 years old, my goldfish got sick. My father told me that, if we released him into the stream nearby, he could get better. So we drove to the stream, and I released my friend into the water. Before I could finish saying goodbye, he got eaten by a trout right in front of me.
That was a pretty traumatic experience for me. Does that mean I have demons too (I thought they worked for me)?
