Jaysis help me, for I am reading House of Leaves. The 5-page footnotes, I can stand. Footnotes within footnotes, fine. But asking me to read text in concentric circles is going a bit too far. Otherwise, the book is awesome!

Currently reading The 10,000 Year Explosion:How Civilization Accelerated Human Evolution. Very interesting read. It argues against the commonly held thought that significant biological evolution stopped roughly 50,000 years ago.

I'm in reread mode right now, pulling out a few old favorites, The Hotel New Hampshire, Children of the Arbat (awesome piece of Russian literature, set in the Stalin era) & The Grapes of Wrath.

I just finished A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. Excellent book, particularly for anyone who's interested in hiking. I'll be starting Your Inner Fish either tomorrow or tonight. Bill Bryson is amazing. Have you read Made In America? I have not. I shall add it to my list.

I'm reading The Accidental Revolution. It talks about the connections between punk and grunge.

What's different about the Super-Awesome-Deluxe edition? Also, that's a very fun read.

Embossed leather cover, watercolour illustrations, and a couple of bonus chapters. Basically tricked out to look like it was published c1920.
