Congressman Alan Grayson has decided that the GOP is not the only one that can throw jabs by stating on the House floor that the Republican health care plan is, 1. Don't get sick. 2. If you do, die quickly! Then when asked to apologize he once again took the floor and stated ""I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven't voted sooner to end this holocaust in America," Of course the GOP is calling for his head. I guess some can dish it but not take it. politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/09/30/grayson-remains-defiant-on-die-quickly-remarks/?eref=politicalflipper

LOL.
Right or wrong, I tend to like a person who isn't afraid to use sarcasm.

Finally, a democrat with balls. If I had money (which I don't because of how badly the republicans fucked over the economy) I'd contribute to him.

Of course, now Republicans are accusing Democrats of being hypocritical for demanding an apology from Joe Wilson and not Grayson...I'm pretty sure Wilson's outburst was a lot less dignified, more inappropriate, and I didn't see Repugs scrambling to apologize for his behavior. Also, what, do they have guilty consciences or are they just resistant to sarcasm/"taste o' yer own medicine" detection?

On the Rachel Meadow show Grayson just referred to the GOP as "Know nothing, do nothing, knuckle dragging ideologues."
......and pointed out that what he says does not matter, what matters is that we get people health care.

Woo, way to go!
The republican response is hysterical, I wonder how many more times they'll be allowed to lie and crap all over everything before someone tells them to take their ball and go home

Woo, way to go! The republican response is hysterical, I wonder how many more times they'll be allowed to lie and crap all over everything before someone tells them to take their ball and go home It's like someone punched the Republicans in the face. They've been throwing elbows and biting ears for eight rounds and suddenly they got a taste of their own medicine, and now they want the ref to call the fight. Between him and Anthony Weiner, I'm starting to like this "Democrats with a backbone" movement.
