The proper rejoinder for being told "I'll pray for you" is the smuggest smirk you can muster up. Stony silence also works. What if it's being offered by your father after the two of you had an honest discussion about why you both think the ways that you do and he's sincerely afraid for your eternal soul? Seems dickish in that case.
