In addition, you can see in that screenshot that I have renamed Mao and China, so that instead of leading Mao Zedong of the Chinese Empire, I am leading Distind of the Anti-Rapture Ready Empire (AKA FSTDT). Heh, I'm fairly sure Distind is one of the other CivIV players on the board. *Looks up from Fall From Heaven 2's mod mod Orbis* Huh?

I second fishing, you have a lot of coastline and I also prefer having an mighty economy to a huge military. A combination is ideal, of course.

Although fishing is promising, I think masonry is the way to go. I always rush for the Great Wall - immunity to barbarians means less need for military.

I thought it was faster construction? Well, it's faster, in the sense that Fast Workers are able to get where they need to be in fewer turns (especially when moving to/through forest or jungle squares, which require 2 Movement Points per square).

I played and loved the second one. I bought the fourth, but it doesn't work on my computer which makes me a sad panda.

Chapter the Second: in which my Incompetence turns us back by 8 turns and Good Science: I forgot to save when I hit the 20 turn mark, so I have to replay 8 turns... 3120 BC: My workers start chopping down a forest to increase production. 3000 BC: My scouts meet Suleiman the Magnificent/Lawmaker (depending on where you live) of the Ottoman Empire: Historical Background: Suleiman the Magnificent was the greatest Ottoman Sultan, who expanded the Turkish borders to include much of the Middle East and North Africa. In addition, he also reformed Ottoman law to match that of Sharia (Islamic) Law, hence his nickname "the Lawgiver".
