Does it ever occur to these people maybe they were voted in to try and fix things and not just be human speed bumps. If you don't like what the other side is doing come up with a "better" fucking plan!

Of course, calling Obama a socialst wouldn't sound half as bad if the idiots who were calling him that even knew what the hell socialism IS. Of course they know. It's... a bad thing? Also, it has something to do with the commies.

I've been seeing calls to arms a lot lately from republicans and fundies. There's nothing more terrifying than an angry and irrational zealot draped in ammo. To be fair that only holds true until someone lobs a firebomb on them. Then it's a wonderful site to behold as the ammo cooks off in the midst of their comrads in ignorance. Assuming you're at a safe distance of course. This would be one reason that soldiers aren't drapped in ammo, beyond the supply constraints and bulk.

Of course, then the question becomes....Who do you attack? my guess is they wouldn't have the first clue who to go after unless it were Muslims or teh gheys...then they'd end up outing themselves for what they really are - a wacko supremacist group.

They do what the UU gunner did last July; target a oft-derided 'liberal' group of people.

thanks for the link
I truthfully can't see any kind of widespread movement of violence taking place. If anything, you'd probably just end up with a bunch of Waco and Ruby Ridge inspired standoffs after some poor census taker gets shot for asking too many questions.

As others suggest, this is what the Republicans are reduced to. Pure, content-free, frothing-at-the-mouth hatred.

Of course, calling Obama a socialst wouldn't sound half as bad if the idiots who were calling him that even knew what the hell socialism IS. This is why I think there should be a special squad to educate people on this. They'll ride around in a comical car and when someone throws the word socialist around without understanding it, they'll be dispatched. When they get there they'll jump out, assault the offending person with nerf bats and duct tape the definition of socialism to there forehead. While I don't think this will do much to curtail people doing this sort of thing, it will make it more entertaining when they do.

What the fuck?
She's no more a "foreign correspondent" than Joe the Plumber. And he actually went overseas. That's saying a lot.
Michele Bachmann unwittingly carried out her own "penetrating exposé" into which Congresspeople were anti-American. The answer is: Michele Bachmann.

Where the neocons go I'm not sure - I can only think that the Libertarians could possibly come closest, pushing them towards being the USA's Liberal Democrats. Which might be a positive thing for US politics, but it'll never happen.

They, for instance, want to legalise baby selling and privitise air.
