kawaii! Sorry, won't do that againHmm. Perhaps that's how certain islands in the Pacific got their names...the natives were awestruck by the incredible kewtness of the younger versions of the local fauna.

Look at the size of their claws and they're just babies! Itsy bitsy cuddly wuddly little babies. I noticed those claws, too--they're MASSIVE compared to how tiny they are. Yeah, they're cute until they can grow up to maul you to death. (Not that they ever WILL hurt humans. It's just that they have that potential.) I feel the same way about emus.

*gurgle* *gurgle* *brain short circuits* THEY'RE SO KA-YOOOOT! Little bitty baby leopard kittens with their itty-bitty baby paws and those teensy ears, and little spotty bellies, and... and... *SQUEE!* KITTIES!! Yeah, I go totally girly in the presence of baby animals. Ever want to see me "SQUEE!" in real life? Produce a kitten. Funny...that's my reaction to any type of baby animal who doesn't have the "right" cordination to come give me a sniff, a nuzzle, and a kiss. Ironbite-just...compleat and total meltdown.

Is there a reason they're being hand fed, rather than being cared for by their mother?

Because, in captivity, the mother would be likely to kill them.
