I don't know how many of you have heard of this kid, but a 13-year-old home-schooled "author" named Jonathan Krohn was invited to speak by the CPAC (alongside conservative "greats" such as Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Mitt Romney, John Boehner, Ron Paul and Samuel Wurzelbacher...er, I mean "Joe the Plumber"). www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/02/27/jonathan-krohn-13-year-ol_n_170642.htmlP.S. Who else thinks this kid acts/sounds like Marjoe Gortner? (For those of you who've heard of him.)

Part of me is all like, "good for you, getting interested in politics," and another part of me is all like, "ewwwww...Sarah Palin for President?" so yeah.

I feel sorry for the kid. Just wait until he gets older. I wonder if he will feel the same in a few years. After all, he is at that age where he thinks he knows everything.

... he is at that age where he thinks he knows everything. I think you just discovered the great secret of the GOP. They all have 13 year old brains! Run for your lives!

I remember Marjoe. I recall some lame-assed tv movie about giant rats.
What an actor.

And yet compared to the other Republicans he really was the most eloquent.
Still full of crap but he said it better then his peers.
Yes lets hope the GOP does indeed stay in the wilderness along time. I know it won't be forever because eventually people will forget what they did. But we will need along time to fix the mess they created.

I can see 2012 now... Krohn/Palin --- The Republican campaign has to work around Palin running this kid to hockey 3 times a week...
Oh wait - homeschooled, never mind.

He probably is the future. I mean, it's gonna take another 20 or so years to dig the party's collective head from its ass, and by then, he'll be about Presidential age....

A 13-year-old can barely be said to be sentient, let alone have politics. I guess that makes him a ringer for the modern Republicans...

See, when I first saw this, my brain went through several thoughts: 1.) "What the fuck?" 2.) "No, seriously, what the fuck?!" 3.) "Homeschooled, toted out in front of a large crowd and called a political prodigy by conservatives: I kinda feel sorry for the kid." 4.) "Nevermind, that kid needs a swirly...."

Homeschoolers have a lot of time on their hands. Was that book ghostwritten in some way? Maybe his parents helped. His parents are pushing, if not exploiting him. They got him doing musical theatre.
