I'm sure this has been on before, but Andrew Denton's 'God on My Side' is fucking awesome. But my favourite bit is that the 2007 NRB Convention was held at the Gaylord Centre!

Oh god I love that movie. Especially the part where it points out that without all these idiots the Republicans as they are now simply wouldn't have the support base to be one of the two major parties. That certainly explains a lot I must say.

That certainly explains a lot I must say. Great party strategy! Cultivate a base of supporters among the creepy fundy minority and among the very wealthy or wealthy wannabes, in the process alienating the great majority who are rational thinkers. This does indeed explain a lot, in American politics.
