Uh huh, you know, this still doesn't do anything about ocean acidification. That's just as much of an issue as the heat.

I've heard that much of the carbon dioxide is released from ocean water as it warms from global warming. Acidification would cause a Le'Chatlier reversal of H2O/CO2 dissolution, and therefore more release of carbon dioxide into atmosphere.

Yeah, except that there is so much CO 2 in the atmosphere that it outdoes the increasing temperature. It's being observed and, frankly, I'm trusting the Royal Society over you.

The fact that there's a threat to my computer going there speaks volumes to me without going there

The website is not working in the tropics, where we experience the effects by the shovelful.

I couldn't even load the website up in the first place.
It immediately took me to one of those "hey, here's an image of a "my computer" folder that we're trying to pass off as yours. OH NOES, OUR FAKE VIRUS SCAN SAYS YOU HAVE 12038912084390128940731890749137481237894139471238941384 VIRUSES! Buy our shitty anti-virus thing which will probably infect your computer with more viruses than it could possibly cure!"
And yeah, I have adblock.

That kind of message only appears when you're infected.

My AVG kicks that shit to the curb

Which is exactly why I'm getting off my lazy ass and reinstalling it.
I say "reinstalling" because my computer experienced a couple of critical crashes, both of which involved reformatting the hard drive, and after dealing with it twice, I got lazy and stuck with McAfee.

Yeah, McAfee is kinda meh...and Norton, fuck, it's more of a virus than it is an anti virus
Avg however seems to have a good rep for making a virus bite the curb

Yeah However, it didn't detect any viruses in the first place.
And those screens only pop up on certain websites. One of them doesn't have it anymore (and that would be FMyLife). So, I don't think it's so much a virus as it is an ad that gets out of control.
Or spyware. I'll run a check for that, too.
