It'll be better if the Spider-Man reboot doesn't suck.
Or an X-Men movie featuring Rogue.

It'll be better if the Spider-Man reboot doesn't suck. It will. No Raimi + No Maguire = Teh suck. Never happen. She's a D-List marvel character at best whose storyline in the comics has been so convoluted and chaotic that even die hard True Believers don't know what the hell to make of her anymore. Considering that Iron Man almost didn't get made because the studios didn't think he was A-List enough for a movie, I doubt anyone is going to plunk down cash for a character that even the writers of the comic book have sidelined for being too confusing.

I can easily wait. I don't have high expectations.
I am somewhat of an expert on Norse mythology, and as such, I never liked Marvel's versions of the Norse gods and heroes. I really don't believe Hollywood will improve my impression.
...excuse the silly sounding alliteration.

I don't particularly care about this movie, although I will pretty much definitely go see it because of the high probability of explosions and such. The same reason I'd go see most action movies, basically. If it turns out to have a decent story and acting as well, I'm open to that. Still, I'm waiting more for Captain America and particularly the Avengers movie.

Which makes the Thor casting weird, since the star is also starring in another Joss flick.

You're a d-list Marvel character. Why do I seem to be the only one who likes Rogue?

I bought several X-books just for Rogue appearances (since I didn't have any besides a Ms. Marvel book). I like her recent green outfit. With the hood? I think they might've been the first specifically X-books I bought, just so I could read about Rogue. (I do this with a lot of characters, though.)

Her Evolution appearance is so far my favorite. And now I'm on the hunt for some bigass X-Men book I remember borrowing from the library several years ago, but I don't remember the name of it.
There's also a similar Spider-Man and Incredible Hulk book.
