You should just move to England, since that's where you'll end up threatening to move whenever Harper starts proroguing the shit out of Parliament and whatnot.

Ick. I forgot about Harper. Threatening to BSoD parliament to get our way again, are we? He's a very special breed of loony. Still, he is only half as bad as the conservative nuts here. Or maybe I've just gotten more sick of them.

I wouldn't rule it out, Shy--not completely, anyway. If there's one thing I've learned it's that it's impossible to overestimate the US populace's potential for being COMPLETELY FUCKING STUPID. And if that happened, I would run away to Canada. Really, really fast. Even Canada won't be able to save you!

Suddenly Stewart/Colbert actually looks like a really good option!

Suddenly Stewart/Colbert actually looks like a really good option! What do you mean, suddenly? I would vote for them in a heartbeat. They make more sense than most people who offer "serious" analysis of the news. Or the people who make the news, for that matter.

If Hannity, Beck, Palin, and/or Bachmann can run, then so can Stewart and Colbert.

Suddenly Stewart/Colbert actually looks like a really good option! I'd prefer Stewart/Maddow. I'd get US citizenship to vote for that ticket.

What makes it all the more terrifying is the fact that Hannity actually stated that he would run for president if "God directs me to". Still not as bad as a Beck/Coulter ticket, though. I don't know, I think that's a tossup. It would be a perfect storm of stupid if ANY of those people actually ran. Jodie: *headdesk forever* So with those tickets I suppose it's a choice between the Asshole/Idiot and the Insane/Evil tickets
