If that's how he chooses to define god, that's fine, but it's more of a deist/pantheist god. Such a definition does NOT "prove" the Judeo-Christian god. If anything, it contradicts all but the most metaphorical readings of the bible.

Yeah, that's persuasive. It helps if you're very drunk when it's proposed to you.

So where is this proof? I saw mentions of the singularity and that it is God, as well as repeated mentions of this, but no proof. And John's right, even if this singularity was proven to be some version of an advanced state of existance, there is zero proof that it is God, Thor, The FSM, or Marduk.
Next so-called proof. . . .?

What about black hole singularities? Gods of destruction?

This idea is hardly new. The Big Bang as a parallel to biblical creation is one of the bases of theistic evolution, and is why many religious groups accept Big Bang cosmology with only limited reservations.

Hey there IS proof of Thor, they found his Hammer in the Arizona desert.

what are the 'properties of god" ? Very good question, I'll try to play with it in another thread. But I think I would at the very least demand that "god" is a conscious being. I can't see how a singularity can be conscious.

what are the 'properties of god" ? If we figure out God's chemical properties, we can develop a piss test to determine who's a deity and who isn't. It'll be like Maury's paternity tests! "In the case of 2000-year-old Jesus, God, you... are not the father!"

Personally, I don't see him proving anything.

This isn't even a hypothesis, it's just words spilling out of his mouth at best
