Hey thanks. I really enjoy your heavy use of black in shadowing. It's quite nice, especially on your figure work. Very Elf Quest.
Now I feel old.

Mine is a very comic book inspired style, hence all the line work and black shading. I'm glad you like it. I've been working on my pen & ink skills pretty hard.
One thing I need a lot of work on is hair. I mention it because the hair in your third picture is beautiful and makes me jealous.

I could swear I've seen that fictional exhibit material before. Was it on display somewhere in Chicago?

Yojetak, I dunno if I want to be in jaw-dropped admiration of your talent, or HATE YOU for it. Because frankly you're amazing. I'm in awe. And I hate you.
I think I'll do both.

I really like that mural, yojetak. Whenever I get a house of my own, or at least an apartment that lets me paint the walls, I'm going to do all kinds of stuff like that.

That line stuck with me because I only truly know a person after drawing them. Even if I don't know them on a personable level, I now know them in a way no one else can possibly understand. To me, that's extremely erotic. It's funny, I've always found the act of drawing (even an attractive nude person) to be kind of anti-erotic. I become so focussed on what I'm doing, erotic thoughts don't have any room to squeeze in.

Here's a Blue Jay I'm working on. It started out as a doodle in MS paint, then I figured I'd kick myself if I didn't at least save it. I don't care for paint, I just use it to draft out simple things, or aimlessly doodle. I always do this to myself. It's like when I'd draw something really good on lined notebook paper T_T. What the hell, might as well see how good I can make it look. BLARHG, 3 tries to get the link to work.

Heh. Sugarfree, that second one looks sort of Mark Ryden-ish.

Artist Card Editions and Originals, also called ATCs or Artist Trading Cards. It's art that's done at standard trading card size of 2.3 x 3.5 inches. It can be almost any surface or medium as long as it's that size and flat enough to fit in a standard trading card sleeve.
These were done in ink & marker on bristol board.
