Because maybe I might recommend the existence of such a game to certain fundies so that they can shut up about DnD.

I know it's not what you're looking for, but there are Christian gaming groups who play D&D. that probably doesn't help none, but the only time I came across a "Christian" RPG, it was more a "Holy War" RPG, and while that's probably also not what you're looking for, it's moot because I don't remember the name.
What you can do, if you want, and this one might be helpful, is to link them to the system reference document for 3.5 (d20srd.org) and tell them to make their own game. It'd be really easy to create one that was solely Christian by changing classes and restricting spell options. After all, Clerics are already the badasses of 3.X

I am well acquainted with a surprisingly high quality Christian Magic the Gathering ripoff.

I ran a 2nd edition D&D game in medieval Europe (I think the game started in December, 1505 in Florence) and kept it as historically accurate I could. Well, with the inclusion of magic. Wizards were, of course, hunted by the Church as witches and I eliminated the divine spell-caster classes for the most part. Most "Priests" were either fighters or 0 level humans, although there were a few divine casters, but they were very rare and tended to be restricted to the Healing sphere only. (And these characters were also usually hunted down by the church as witches.)
The PCs wound up attempting to hide a genuine divine spellcaster (who happened to be a child) from the church witchfinders. It was years ago, and really the only thing I remember clearly is that the PCs accidentally killed Martin Luther while trying to rescue him from a Roman prison (black power is NOT your friend if you don't know what you are doing.....) and had to start the Protestant Revolution themselves.
THEY, of course, did it by decapitating Pope Leo X in the middle of the Easter Mass. It was like watching Quentin Tarentino rape the History Channel.

No, they're too good and wholesome. I don't want anything like that around to corrupt my children.

Well, there exist fan-made pantheons specifically for the Christian deities. Yes, plural. God most certainly, and Jesus (depending on your faith) would technically be a deity, too. Demigod at bare minimum.
In addition to that, you can simply render arcane casters and druids as NPC/villain only, making Clerics warriors chosen by God, His hand in the world. Because lets face it: Non-caster only parties would get raped by level appropriate encounters beyond about 10th level. (In 3.x, at least.) 4th Ed, you could, of course, get away with all non-caster parties, though I still wouldn't advise it. Once again, you could handle it such that the only casters allowed are those that revere God, working to spread His word and such.
Just point all this out.

In Nomine. Fundies would go barking mad over it. I keep hoping the fundies will discover In Nomine, the resulting explosion of Righteous Rage would be excellent publicity for a game that Needs More Love (warning TVtropes link).

I am well acquainted with a surprisingly high quality Christian Magic the Gathering ripoff. Just last weekend I was at a sci-fi convention. One of the artists in the art show was showing some originals that she did for a Magic-like Christian card game, with a copy of the card next to each original. Might have been the same game.
