Well, I come across religious people not on facebook, but on Tagged.com. A site similar to Facebook.
Someone posted a message basically saying "Everyone needs the grace of God"
And I said "No, I'm good."
Then she PMed me.
What do you think? Did I handle myself pretty well? I think I suck at debating. What else could I have said to her? This debate is still ongoing.

Other person: Why don't you want God? He wants you... He could use you with all the passion you have........
Me: Why don't you want Shiva? He wants you... He could use you with all the passion that you have.
Other Person: Because I don't want to risk the chances of coming back as a dog..... rofl!!!!
Other Person: But seriously with Jesus being your God... you don't have to worry about being "good" determining where you spend your eternity because His way is that when you accept him as your savior you are saved from Hell which has nothing to do with how you act just simply believing and accepting and as you accept him of corse you would want to know more about the person that died for you... that was nailed to a cross for you... so that you being sinful could be forgiven just by accepting him as the son of God and believing that he is who he says he is..... all this living then coming aback as a dog and working your way up.... who wants to keep going through that.... what if you never get it right?
Me: Ok. I'll be serious here. I'll tell you why I'm agnostic. There are so many beliefs about how the world began and stuff, none of them are any more right than the other. Whose to say whose right and whose wrong? No group can agree on anything.
Not even you Christians can agree with each other on certain things! That's why we have Protestants, Lutherians, Greek Orthodox, Quakers, Mormons, Catholics (The last two do believe in Jesus, so they count).
What makes YOUR beliefs more valid than others?
Other Person: Because my beliefs are according to the whole word of God... not just cutting and pasting what I want to make it fit me but living by exactly what it says..... but the problem is you're looking to people to validate who God is and if you look at "man" you'll never see God because no human being is perfect! The fact of the matter is reguardless if they are protestants, lutherins, greek orthodox... etc there is still just one God and the thing is all these people believe in some part or the whole of the bible.... some people just choose to accept parts of it because it's easy to do.... ..... that's why it's important to study the word of God for yourself... and in doing this it will be clear to see the divisions and why they are there.... divisions are an act of Satan because he knows that when we are divided in faith we cannot have our true collective power.... but the important thing is to read the bible for yourself and not go on what you've been told then who God is will become as clear to you as day....
Me: There are many religions that say the exact same thing, you know. "No! My beliefs are true! No! My beliefs!"
I know about the bible, having having to read it for most of my life due to school. You know what? I decided it's not for me. You know most Atheists and Agnostics have been raised Christian, and thus they do have at least some knowledge of the bible. The bible knows many different interpetations, and can sometimes contradict itself.
I know why the divisions exist, or at least i can do a little research on why they exist.
Other Person: Religions is what messes people up.... God was not religeous, he followed the will of the Father... I do know that most Agnostics and atheists were raised in Christian homes and were hurt and probably forced to live a certain way as a child and dissappointed to see their parents acting a different way from what they were told to act, which causes you to stray away from God.... the religeon is not the important part.... but the pure uncut unadulterated word of God will get into your spirit and allow you to live and come out of darkness.... You have a long life ahead of you... you're still young don't do like I did and wait until you're older and have an epiphany and realize all the time you've wasted on nonesense because weather you choose to believe it or not God is not going to make you and neither can I... but he does love you enough and wants you to get closer to him... even so much that he gave is only son up to die so that for everything you do and are going to do can be forgiven
