Hmm
So many political stereotypes... some of them violent.
Why not mash them together in a videogame?
Now I'm just starting to learning how to program, so don't ask me to produce anything I'm throwing ideas around.
Title: Rebels and Tyrants Genre: FPS or TPS
Setting: A modernish world much like ours only the continents are shaped differently.
Story: So basically in this world there are various major countries and somehow civil war breaks out in each and single one of them almost simultaneously. Some countries are democracies, some are monarchies, some are authoritarian states. Each have their alliances and hatreds. But when a world wide civil war occurs, sometimes things will get shuffled around... a lot.
Then come the rebels. Some of them really want an end to tyranny, some are there to instill it, some just want independence and some just want to see things burn. Like the countries they fight against, not all of them like each other.
Basically this game is about a world war where your allies could secretly be your Sword of Damocles and your enemies are hold back an even greater foe.

@dark: Reading that both made complete sense, and made me snort energy drink out my nose. It's quite literally painfully funny.
Also, I'd totally play this. Maybe some kind of Risk/Romance of the Three Kingdoms mix?

Did someone say Romance of the Three Kingdoms? I CALL SUN WU!
Also, this sounds pretty damn good...if pulled off properly.

I call Cao Cao if we're in the Three Kingdoms.
I would say it would probably work quite well as a Grand Strategy a la Hearts of Iron. It probably wouldn't be too hard to actually make it an HOI2 mod.
