I forgot my exact results, but I think I remember that I was 10% Hindu and 77% Liberal Quaker. I was born a Hindu. Something went wrong here. Although, I was ranked 82% Theravada Buddhist or something, and the way I grew up the values and cultural aspects of Hinduism were taught to be more important than the mythology, or at least emphasized more, and if not that then it's just what stuck with me. So it's fairly clear the ranking on Hinduism is based on the mythology so Buddhism, being derived from the cultural aspects of Hinduism, is closer to the ideas I got as a kid than the random legend. A little ironic if you ask me XD.

So I'm secular humanist rather than atheist... you really learn something new every day. It was doing this very same quiz when I was 16 (yes, it's been going that long) and getting it as my top result then was what led me to investigate secular humanism further. I'd known for a few years that I didn't believe in at least the mainstream version of the God of Abrahamic monotheism and come to the conclusion that we as humans are responsible for our own destiny, but I didn't really have any kind of established philosophy to draw on. Not coincidentally it was about the same time I began appreciating philosophy as a discipline of study. Anyway, here's my result. 1. Secular Humanism (100%) 2. Unitarian Universalism (92%) 3. Liberal Quakers (79%) 4. Nontheist (70%) 5. Theravada Buddhism (70%) 6. Neo-Pagan (68%) 7. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (67%) 8. New Age (58%) 9. Taoism (54%) 10. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (30%) 19. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (23%) 20. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (22%) 21. Islam (21%) 22. Orthodox Judaism (21%) 23. Hinduism (19%) 24. Seventh Day Adventist (19%) 25. Eastern Orthodox (15%) 26. Roman Catholic (15%) 27. Jehovah's Witness (9%)

It'd be interesting if someone stored their results and re-took this test every few years or so, so that we could watch someone's beliefs evolving over time. It strikes me as an interesting experiment.

Yeah... that's a really interesting idea. I think I'll save mine now and see what happens down the line.

I was surprised how accurate it was (though I do prefer to be labeled as just "pagan"):
1. Neo-Pagan (100%) 2. Liberal Quakers (91%) 3. Unitarian Universalism (90%) 4. Reform Judaism (87%) 5. New Age (87%) 6. Baha'i Faith (83%) 7. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (79%) 8. Mahayana Buddhism (74%) 9. Secular Humanism (68%) 10. Sikhism (67%) 11. New Thought (59%) 12. Orthodox Judaism (58%) 13. Scientology (58%) 14. Theravada Buddhism (57%) 15. Jainism (55%) 16. Taoism (52%) 17. Islam (51%) 18. Orthodox Quaker (50%) 19. Nontheist (45%) 20. Hinduism (44%) 21. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (40%) 22. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (33%) 23. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (32%) 24. Eastern Orthodox (24%) 25. Roman Catholic (24%) 26. Seventh Day Adventist (20%) 27. Jehovah's Witness (11%)
I was surprised though that I was more Mormon than Roman Catholic.
Also, I feel this may not be all that indicative because a lot of the religious answers seemed pretty heavy on the Christian side no matter what

I noticed that too, but it could be because there's so many different Christian-type religions that don't necessarily go by the code of mainstream protestant or catholic religions. Like Mormons, Jehova's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, blah blah blah.
