Oh America, so concerned with the gays and atheists. So concerned with sex and drugs. You are blind. How can you not notice the suffering on your own shore? How can you ignore the yearning masses crying out for justice? How can you ignore the countless millions you oppress for your own greedy ends?
I have heard many Americans decry their nation as the most immoral, as the most oversexed, as the least concerned with traditional values. Have you not noticed that it is also the nation least concerned with the poor? Have you not noticed that it is a nation that mocks the plight of the downtrodden? Have you not noticed that it is the mightiest military power in history? How can you condemn your brother for being gay and commend him for murdering foreigners in cold blood?
Oh America, how can you yearn for Judgment Day? Are you so arrogant as to think that you yourself will not be judged? When Christ stands before you he will tell you to depart! He will tell you that he came to you hungry and poor and brown and you turned him away. You bombed him and his family, you starved him, you enslaved him. Can any of us escape the justice of the Lord? Pray not for Judgment Day America. Pray for mercy. But will you be shown the same mercy you deny to your brothers?
You mock the Atheists. You should pray they are right. You should pray that we will not be judged for our sins, for we shall all be found wanting.

Have you not noticed that it is also the nation least concerned with the poor? North Korea, Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria among others would like a word with you. In any case, there'll be no judgement day of karmic retribution or some such. The universe will simply go on as per the laws of physics and chemistry. Survival of the fittest will remain as true as ever, for humans as much as any other biological entity and in the end what we as a species does to each other will have such little impact on the universe as a whole that the itch in your asscrack will seem like an epic world-changing event by comparison. As for my take on the situation, I figure I'm while exceedingly lucky enough to be born a well-off white male westerner, I might as well enjoy being part of the more priveliged strata of humanity and hope to FSM that the status quo doesn't change too drasticly in my rather short lifetime.

You would willingly condemn billions to short lives of pain and exploitation for your own comfort? Perhaps atheism has warped your morality. But that isn't much of an excuse as there are many atheists who show proper concern for the plight of the poor. I am certain that they, better than I, can explain atheistic reasons to work for the betterment of others.
Repent!

But that isn't much of an excuse as there are many atheists who show proper concern for the plight of the poor. I am certain that they, better than I, can explain atheistic reasons to work for the betterment of others. Not at all. I'm all for helping the poor, don't get me wrong and if it was in my power, I would happily improve things for them. The reality is though, I can do no more than a token effort in that area. I mean, what can you or me do that'll bring about any sort of substancial change? So in light of this, what's the point? I can't change the current situation so I may as well enjoy it, being one of the lucky few who can. As for repenting... Nah. If God and Jesus have a problem with me, they can bloody well tell me themselves.

I dunno, you might as well repent just to be on the safe side.

This "America is the worst country on the planet" crap is just as bad as the "We're number 1, these colours don't run!" stuff. On the whole, the 'states is one of the better places to live in the world, even if you're poor.

But that's not all, Paradox! All over the country, murals are faded, chipped, peeled, and covered over with horrible graffiti.
Repaint, America!
