Limiting myself to new stuff from the past 15-18 months or so, otherwise this list would get insanely long:
Albums: Disturbed - Asylum Stone Sour - Audio Secrecy 30 Seconds to Mars - This Is War Apocalyptica - 7th Symphony Tarja - What Lies Beneath
Songs: Stone Sour - Say You'll Haunt Me Apocalyptica - Not Strong Enough, End of Me 30 Seconds to Mars - Night of the Hunter, This Is War, Closer to the Edge Slipknot - Snuff Ozzy Osbourne - Let Me Hear You Scream Drowning Pool - Feel Like I Do Shinedown - Diamond Eyes (Boom-lay, Boom-Lay Boom) Within Temptation - Where is the Edge Pain of Salvation - Linoleum Flobots - White Flag Warrior
...and perhaps most importantly seen live: Lacuna Coil (+ Dirty Little Rabbits, + Dommin), Glasgow ABC, February 2 Apocalyptica (+ Pain of Salvation), Glasgow ABC, November 3

Mine would just be forty straight minutes of children shrieking in agony, played at roughly 150 decibels. 2010 was not a particularly good year for me. How 'bout this? When I look at my 'music' bookmarks, I see the following: - Metal, predominantly of the Symphonic kind, specifically Epica (2009 was Tarja Turunen) - Blackmore's Night (folk rock) - Neon Genesis Evangelion OST - Lovecraft Historical Society - misc.
