Saw the shirtless pic. cannotbeunseen.jpg He's actually not all that ugly. I'd hit it. I like distinguished older men. Until now I've been resisting it, but in light of this post... I admit to one or two grey hairs around my temples *suggestive eyebrow wiggle*

I managed to dodge his district by less than a mile. I don't really understand the issue. The guy is still wearing pants and not even doing anything suggestive. It is embarrassing to his family but why should that matter to his politics? Because the GOP continues to make "traditional family values" a core component of its platform. Given the political mileage they get from condemning those who don't confirm to the Happy Days Cunningham's model of family, it would be hypocritical to do otherwise. Now, I have had a fairly non Cunningham-esq romantic and family life myself, I don't condemn the guy for that, but I would assume that at least part of the reason he was elected was because of a public perception that he was the "family values" candidate, and thus, it would be hypocritical of him to continue in the role in light of the scandal, mild though it may be. For what its worth, kudos to him for taking it on the chin, rather than disolving into "do as I say, not as I do" spin doctoring, a la all the other politicos similarly caught out.
