Sorry, but Global Warming/Climate Change is bullshit. Those scientists are just paid to make up bullshit and skew results to assist political agendas. So tell me... What profit is to be made in paying off scientists from all around the freaking world to say we need to protect the environment, if it's nothing more than a lie? Now, think about all the profit big oil and other industries have to gain by not spending money to contain the harmful byproducts they produce. Which side would have more to gain from lying? You fail logic forever.

Atheist fundies make me laugh so hard. Thank god I'm a liberal Strong Agnostic Christian Theist. They make us laugh too. That's why we put them on the mainpage. And is really possible to be a christian, and an agnostic at the same time?

Christian Theist is pretty redundant, since all Christians are theists.
Strong Agnostic makes no sense. So you're very adamant about not knowing?
I would say it's possible to be an agnostic Christian. Maybe they believe in Jesus as the Christ, but aren't quite sure of which parts of the Bible to take literally and which to take figuratively?
Strong Agnostic Christian Theist? That just sounds like something a troll would say.

You obviously don't live in Europe (or anywhere else on this planet) to see how the weather patterns worldwide have been changing over the last decades. Tell me , are you or your parents Ostriches?

That's a very insulting comparison. Ostriches are quite lovely birds.

Strong Agnostic Christian Theist? That just sounds like something a troll would say. Well, it could mean that he's very unsure about the role of god(s) in the world, is culturally Christian, and believes that some kind of diving being does exist. But the premise of that is that he's not a troll, which is probably incorrect.

I'm serious, guys. Or, rather, climate change happens, but it happens to a much less degree than Gore propped it up to be. ALso, nice job being as intolerant of other opinions as the fundies you claim to hate. Atheist fundies make me laugh so hard. Thank god I'm a liberal Strong Agnostic Christian Theist.

Strong Agnostic makes no sense. So you're very adamant about not knowing? Generally, strong agnosticism refers to the claim that knowledge about the existence (or nature) of deities is impossible. Of course, that's in direct contradiction with being a Christian theist, since that implies belief in the existence of one particular God. Unless you consider one can believe in something while asserting they cannot possibly know anything about it. But, chagen claimed to be a capital-R rationalist in his introductory post, which requires that one aim to make belief as close an approximation to reality as possible. So, chagen. How exactly do you manage to be a strong agnostic, a Christian theist, and a rationalist, all at the same time? Are you using non-standard definitions? Or is my analysis above flawed in some way?

Your analysis seems quite sound to me, Sigmaleph.

The ones who believe that martyrdom makes Christianity somehow credible. The ones who claim that god transcends logic while at the same time attempt to argue logically for the existence of god or justify his actions. And the ones who want theocracy.

First of all, I believe that Climate Change does happen. I am skeptical, however, of it being as huge of a problem as people say. I don't deny that it's a large problem, however. I've just heard way too many climate change fundies who say that it's gonna reach The Day After Tomorrow levels. I never said I was a strong agnostic, as far as I remember. Agnosticism: I don't know if a God exists, but I err on the side that one probably does. Christian theism: Going off the above, I believe that if a God does exist, it is the Abrahamic God. Rationalist: I believe that logic and reason are the best possible ways of coming up with good solutions to problems. Religion is an exception I make.

The Day After Tomorrow will never happen unless we have a nuclear winter type situation.
