OK, I'm going to admit ignorance. AC, I don't speak French. I kind of get the idea of that sign, but not well enough to understand all of it. (Is that woman giving birth on the side of the road?) I tried putting the text into a translator, but it didn't help.

I tried putting the text into a translator, but it didn't help. From what my lacking French can translate, the sign says "Warning for our children: This could be yours." I think it's meant to be a child in the road hit by a car and a warning for parents to keep their children off the road.

I thought it was saying giving birth on the side of the road is illegal or something...

So "Warning children: This could be you" is probably the best approximation. Well, at least as I make it, I'm not totally fluent so I'm willing to bow to authority on this one.

Apperantly Jesus jumped off the cross to battle the Greek Gods.

I'm a huge comic book fan and laughed my ass off at this... until I noticed what Batman was doing -- and what's that peeking out from under his utility belt? OH SH-- Owing to a number of rather WTF? sequences in the Golden Age Batman comics, the original Robin's wearing hotpants, and the resurgence of the images via sites like Superdickery.com, an urban legend has sprung up that Batman is a homosexual child molester and that he adopted Dick to satisfy himself. Said urban legend is so common that an episode of the American version of "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" did an entire skit making fun of it. The premise was that two of the comedians had to play Batman and Robin; the hook was that Robin made an unpleasant discovery as the two were changing into their costumes, and so the two improvised it that Robin found his costume replaced with that of Wonder Woman's, forcing Batman to make a confession.

Thank you, Skyfire. We needed that one explained for us. I, myself, have spent the last ten years living under a rock, oblivious to such references. (Hint: If you can't read Kanji [IIRC], just look at the image name)
