'Dorf' sounds like a cross between 'Worf' and 'Dorn'.

'Dorf' sounds like a cross between 'Worf' and 'Dorn'. Thank god, I'm not the only one who thought it.

Maybe that is where the main ingredient for 'gagh' comes from...

So, given that the Death Star could destroy an entire fucking planet, why was it necessary for the moon of Endor to rotate until the Rebel base was in line of site of the primary weapon?
Was there a lack of faith...?

Was there a lack of faith...? Did they ever plan to fire on Endor, given the moon was where they had their force field generator? Or do you mean Yavin IV, where it really was utterly stupid?

Yavin IV was a gas giant, the rebel base was on its moon. It's entirely possible that Yavin was too big for the DS to blow up, though if the DS could have blown it up successfully then it would have worked quite well for destroying the rebel base.

You know, it occurs to me now for the first time that it doesn't make very much sense for a laser weapon to make something explode which is not itself actually explosive.

It's all Leia's fault.

The DS had a 24 hour recharge on its super laser, so shoot one then the other wouldn't have worked. Still, blasting Yavin could have been sufficient for destroying the Rebel base.

Ooops - I meant Yavin, not Endor!
**gives list of unlikely excuses**
Anyway, I have a fascinating question about Pluto:
Goofy is a dog and he can talk (well, sort of...). Pluto is also a dog, but he cannot talk. They both inhabit the Mickey Mouse universe. Why is poor Pluto denigrated to the role of a mere pet?

Because the one is an anthropomorphic dog, the other a non-anthropomorphic dog. Simple.

Goofy is obviously black, and apparently Disney was ahead of their time in some ways. Pluto is yellow and thus a chink. Disney was ahead of their time in entirely the wrong way this time. I am so going to racist joke hell...
