While on the subject of tabletop games:
I was playing Warhammer 40k against a Tyranids player with my Tau. As this is the first game I played since I had added a Broadside Battlesuit and Hammerhead Tank to my list, I wasn't entirely sure of what the rail guns would do. I also experimented with Infiltrating my Stealthsuits instead of Deepstriking like I usually do.
After moving into position, I shot at his Genestealers, AKA, the main thing I was worried about, with my Kroot (who infiltrated into a nearby forest), my Stealthsuits (who infiltrated behind the Genestealers) and one of my Fire Warrior squads and brought them down to a single unit on turn 1. I then crippled one of his Termigant squads with my other squad of Fire Warriors, then crippled his OTHER Termigant squad with my command team (two Crisis Battlesuits and two Gun Drones), then rail gunned one of his three Monstrous Creatures to near death. He completely failed to get close to me on his turn thanks to him having his lone Genestealer run away to try and deny me a kill point.
Turn 2 had me rail gunning his last Genestealer (Instant Death despite it being a squad leader and having three wounds due to the rail gun having such insanely high strength) due to it being the only unit in line of sight, rail gunning the Monstrous Creature to death and wiping out the rest of his first Termingant squad. He failed to reach me again due to the death of his Termigants and the high mobility of my command team.
On Turn 3, I instant killed his weakest Monstrous Creature with a rail gun and took out his second squad of Termigants. I probably would have done more if it weren't for the fact that nothing was in range. Up to this point in the game, he had a third squad of Termigants that couldn't even move due to continuing to fail their leadership due to being placed out of Synapse range. At this point, he finally got them in to Synapse range. Too bad I took out his Warriors on turn 4.
At the end of turn 4, literally all he had left was that third squad of Termigants. He surrendered at this point. I ended up winning the game with my losses amounting to nothing more than three Fire Warriors and a single Gun Drone.

Wow, speaking of tabletops, how could I forget when I buttraped England?
Okay, for some inexplicable reason, a high school history offshoot class specifically focused on WW2 had us play Axis & Allies at the end. If you don't know what that is, I'm told it's like Risk. I don't know, I've never played Risk. But the basic idea is that you take the role of a country in WW2 and try to take over the other countries' capital cities.
My friend & I instantly claimed Germany.
The game went for 3 days, during which no one gained or lost much ground. On almost every turn, when I had the option to make troops, I put them on the beach of Normandy. When it came to the last day, it became clear that SOMEONE had to take A country to win. So, the people playing England tried to capture the beach, which didn't work. We lost maybe 1 soldier.
Then we took like 30-something planes, soldiers, ships, & God knows what else from various beaches across to England, defeated everything there, and took the entire country in one move, winning by default.
TL;DR: We repelled the D-Day Invasion, Blitzkrieged England into oblivion, and won the war because, fuck history.

okay, a little context, for those unfamiliar with max payne 2 the shift key sends you into a slowmotion dive in the direction your moving, the spacebar makes you jump, or dive, or roll, depending on the direction, back is a quick backwards roll.
I exit the elevator and go around a corner, where there are three hitmen waiting for me like so:
..............................'.....................l ..............................l#3.................l ..............................l.....................l
.........#1..................................#2 ----------------......................------------------- ....................l.....................l elevator.......l.....................l ....................l.....................l ....................l.....................l ----------------l
(ignore the periods)
I go around the corner and am face to face with #1 I had intended to do a slowmo dive away from him, but hit the spacebar instead, doing a quick roll backwards, as I was rolling #2 fired his shotgun, the spray of which passed over me and hit #1
once is was up fro the roll, I blast #1 with my magnum (moded game) finishing him in one shot.
I then dived forward, turning around and oneshotting #2 in midair and #3 (who had in the meantime come around the corner) once in hit the ground
I then proceeded to reload the save and do it again and again, turns out it's even possible for #2 to kill #1 with that shotgun blast.

I punched my laptop's screen and cracked it while playing Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. I then had to play it for a week by hooking my laptop up to my desktop monitor. Seriously, that game is fucking hard until you get your lightsaber.
Not one of my greatest moments, but certainly memorable.

Parts of that are hard even after you get your lightsaber.
I swear nothing was more fun than creeping around and listening to the conversations the Stormtroopers had, and flushing whole rooms of Stormtroopers in to space.

Killing Floor. Patriarch has just finished wiping out my squad bar me. I've got no armour and about 40 health. However, I do have a SCAR with 4 clips. He turns toward me and I flip to full auto and let him have it. He keeps coming through 2 clips and is just about to punch a tentacle through my face when he FINALLY goes down. Cue chat feed exploding.

So in Pathfinder yesterday, we got to the end of the first dungeon. Which had the reanimated corpse of our town's mortal enemy and 4 skeletons. The party is as follows; a cleric, a rouge/bard, a barbarian, and me the summoner plus my eidolon. So we're fighting these guys, kill about three of the skeletons and the main bad guy moves up to hit our cleric, 10 feet away from my eidolon as I get ready to summon a monster. So my eidolon has a special evolution on it called reach which is tied to it's bite. He reaches over and bites the guy, doing 7 points of damage and he's got a DR of 5. So 2 points. He crumbles to dust.
Ironbite-my jaw hit the floor.

TL;DR: We repelled the D-Day Invasion, Blitzkrieged England into oblivion, and won the war because, fuck history. Ah, Axis and Allies. One of my favorite board games. Was playing Germany once, decided to buy an aircraft carrier because fuck England's Royal Navy, put the Luftwaffe on that and went marauding up and down the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Thanks to a series of incredibly lucky rolls I destroyed England's Navy on the third turn while loosing two U-Boats, a Destroyer, and damage to a battleship, and America's Navy a turn after that. Took Africa two turns after that thanks to some excellent bluffing on Japan's part. So England's panicking at this point since they basically have nothing that I can't blow up in a turn and I spent several turns investing in having more artillery than God so Russia was looking at massive casualties if he tried anything. Then I invaded Canada. They surrendered after that, though the Canada thing was more to be funny than an attempt to take the New World. I'm not sure how they expected me to actually be able to take America and their spamming. And on the Warhammer 40k front, had a single Ork fire and manage to kill a Terminator. My friend's reaction was basically 0.o T_T "I hate terminators". It only became worse when 3 Deffcoptas managed to blow a squad of Space Marines to kingdom come or a Ork squad Nob singlehandedly destroyed a dreadnought. This was all during the same game. There's a reason why I'm banned from ever playing Risk or Tabletop games, I'm more or less unbeatable because I roll too damn high. Then there's my brother, who can play Axis and Allies and only Axis and Allies because out of six dice, he will get 3 ones.

HOLY. MOTHER. OF FUCK. I just had the best fucking battle in Guild Wars I've ever had.
Okay, so SleepyOne and I were doing the Nahpui Quarter mission in Factions. She was playing her new Assassin girl, and I was playing my Dervish.
We waltzed through that mission without a single death, until we got to the last boss of the mission...this, is where the awesome began.
After waiting for everyone to heal and regenerate, I prepped my enchantments and just charged down to a horde of enemies. Stupid? Yes, but awesome, and I don't do anything small. Anyway, I was heading straight for the boss, we had lost our last playthru and I didn't wanna lose again. I got surrounded on all sides by about a dozen and a half pissed celestials and tengu.
Noooow...you probably think I'm screwed, right? Wrong. I started swinging my scythe wildly, the damage numbers popped up like weeds. Sleepy was working the foes off me, and my team mates were keeping my insane ass alive, I came close to death several times through this fight.
I whittled about 1/3 of em away, when the rest came at me, about 8 more enemies. They surrounded me, and I just kept swinging. All my enchantments and skills were doing damage fucking EVERYWHERE, there wasn't an enemy around me that wasn't feeling the pain. In a spectacular flash of combat, all of which lasted about...3 minutes, I killed all but one enemy, and rushed the boss, Hai Jii, and cut him down.
I can't take all the credit, though. Many thanks go out to my heroes (customizable followers) and to none other than our very own SleepyOne. Here's to ya, girl!

If their rolls are high, their weapons are devastating.

On Dueling Network I was promptly getting my ass handed to me and brought down to three-hundred lifepoints.
By some miracle I was able to Special Summon a Blue-Eyes White Dragon to make the best comeback ever.

I ran a D&D 3.5 campaign a while ago and ran the party through a modified version of the classic Tomb of Horrors. It was really fun to watch as the druid, played by an impulsive risk-taker, went insane, got turned into an aardvark, got turned back to normal, and then found all of his possessions (including clothes) teleported away, followed by getting turned into a woman.
