The idea I now look a bit noobish compared to my awesome beastliness on the down site. I hope the other site comes back, but if not, I'm gonna have to get back up there so people will RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!
Or not. I do like NASCAR, after all.

Awesome. I've been going through FSTDT Forums withdrawal.

I believe in good and evil... but I also believe in the all-important grey area.
There is NO grey area here. Pure Evil. I hope the monster gets what *it* deserves. If not from the law, then whatever source the Justice in the Universe deems necessary.

I had a good friend die from heart failure. I think he would really like to have been around now. It'll indeed probably be prohibitively expensive at first, but most medical procedures are when they're not more mainstream.
Give it time. If fundies don't screw it up, I have a feeling this will be a real feather in the cap of humanity.

If you have to pay to believe, or to feel you've reached fulfillment, it's not a religion. IMO it's a huge scam.
I don't know how and why so many big-name folks have fallen for it. It seems quite obvious to my peasant eyes.

What those neighbours did was evil. Pure evil. That's all I can say.
That said, I hope the girl is able to enjoy what life she has left as much as she possibly can, and that when the time comes, she dies peacefully.

Well, whatever happens around here, I'm too broke to leave the country so I guess I'm stuck with riding it out. C'est la vie for the low income bracket.

I noticed that too, but it could be because there's so many different Christian-type religions that don't necessarily go by the code of mainstream protestant or catholic religions. Like Mormons, Jehova's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, blah blah blah.

Yeah... that's a really interesting idea. I think I'll save mine now and see what happens down the line.

Can't say I'm too shocked about #1. It pretty much fits me and my beliefs.

While I don't agree with all that Hitchens has espoused over the years, it's his choice what he believes or doesn't believe.
That being said, I hope he somehow gets better, as I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone.

What we take from this, fundie boys and girls, is stop date-setting, because it's dumb!

As a Christian (though not a fundie) I believe Jesus will return when God damn well pleases. Not before, not after. Meanwhile, I'll go ahead and live my life as normal. I have enough everyday problems and stuff to worry about without trying to find menace in my own shadow.

Ugh... Date-setters annoy me. According to the Bible nobody knows except God, and even His Son doesn't know. If they're going to be fundie thumpers, the least they could do is get the "no setting dates" part right. Any date set is automatically wrong, as no human is supposed to know.
