fstdt.net/QuoteComment.aspx?QID=81507Why is this even on here, let alone being overwhelmingly approved? He's saying that Israel is being callous with regards to the lives of Gazans. Even if you don't agree with it, it's not fundie. It's not even unreasonable or hateful.

...I refuse to believe that anyone could design those signs without being aware of the innuendo.

How I wish I was joking. I just noticed, the topic says "Woman," not "Women." Was this Fundie talking about a SPECIFIC woman? If by "specific" you mean "all of them", then yes.

Why are people stupid?
I just started working out. I see girls in the gym every day lifting three times what I can manage. Averages mean nothing.

Yeah, I don't know why everyone calls it global warming when they predicted that it would result in harsher winters way back when we first started to realize something was happening.
And the people who claim to understand the science better than, you know, scientists apparently still haven't figured that one out.

I'm probably biased as a leftwinger but I'm sure someone on the right would compare such phrases to slogans like "Bush lied, kids died." I'd never heard that sentence in my life 'til just now. Of course, that's objectively true, while "death panels" are objectively false and the juxtaposition of "job-killing" with "health care reform" is misleading at best, regardless of how true it is.

I like that they're complaining about being granted legitimacy.

That will teach him a lesson of some kind possibly. "Life's a bitch and then you die."?

Yay, New England! Well, New Hampshire only has civil unions, but still. Yay! Same sex marriage is legal in NH last I knew. This is correct. Now we just need to give Maine a good slap upside the head to get them back on board, and the Northeast will be ours!

Personally, I prefer rum. But that may be because I've only ever drank beer from a keg at the sort of parties that get held in the woods behind the dorms at nighttime.

Fifth Elephant is nowhere near the latest. Just off the top of my head there's been Going Postal, Making Money, The Truth, I Shall Wear Midnight, Thief of Time, Thud and Unseen Academical since then. EDIT: And after grabbing my copy, it turns out it's 12 years old, Huh. I really need to get into Discworld more.
