1,028th post, which now means I've made... 1 kilopost. If that's a word.

Why of all the christian forums I've come across (discluding Freepers) is Rapture Ready the nuttiest? I'm guessing it's because, if all the others are the online equivalents of China, Myanmar, Iran etc., then RR's basically North Korea - all censorship, consensus and prejudice ramped right up to 12. "I don't actually know what the fuck I'm on about, but I'll plow on regardless..."

OMG Ctrak is really Dan Savage! I deny this accusation, because whatever the intent behind it, it is a terrible assault on Dan Savage's reputation.

Thank you, this is exactly what I meant. I'm talking about situations where anybody -- even American citizens -- would have to show their ID to a police officer anyway. Well that's a relief. For a moment there, I think we all thought someone in France was getting all pro-authority.

I clicked through to the sources. Apparently the DHS' involvement was denied as being as wide-scale as claimed (but not completely denied, mind). The $850,000 PR campaign is apparently completely real.

Do you know what a murmuration is? Ah. I was hoping it'd be the process of turning something into a murmur. Or even better, the process of making something sound increasingly like R.E.M.'s Murmur.

...and now I'm back on Thread Killer.
"It's a 3,170-post load of bullshit, essentially". </intra-forum crossover>

Wait, we want to see his Bill Clinton? Members of FSTDT, I urge you all to stop, pause and think about this.

R.E.M.'s "A Month of Saturdays". As someone who has all 15 of their albums, I can only say that it's hilariously bad. What were they thinking, exactly?

Communism is shit, so get a plane with both a left and a right wing so that you can leave the EU. Of course, it all makes perfect sense... maybe? Kinda grim rather than surreal this time.

I'm presuming that reply #3160 on this thread is a direct response to reply #3159. This probably isn't true, but it's amusing anyhow.

4th one has a point. Both are at fault. True to an extent, but: if I hand you a gun without knowing who you are, that makes me irresponsible; if you then shoot someone dead, that doesn't make me a killer.

Don’t listen to Rise Against alone. We suggest… “The Rise Against” •10 oz. Fernet Serve neat. Garnish with national flag. >>I'm not sure I get the national flag garnish either - Rise Against is kinda..been really critical of American politics and a national flag suggests nationalism... I'm guessing it's a very superficial reading of this.
