I'd been into the hobby of model railroading for a while, but never posted any pictures or videos of my creations until now. In any case, I've got a picture of my current HO scale layout and a video of it in action. Enjoy!

That's pretty neat. I'm kind of impressed that the train didn't derail with the dinosaur there.
My dad's a huge railfan and started building his own model railroad, constructing the scenery and everything himself. He actually took several large chunks of styrofoam, glued them together, and carved his own mountains, creating a tunnel in the process for his train to go through. It takes a lot of patience, but it's looking awesome.

I enjoy model railroads. And with that, I believe I have contributed all I can to this thread.

Cue creationists only glancing at the title and saying "OMG PROOF OF LIVING DINOSAURS!"

It takes a lot of patience, but it's looking awesome. My father had something similar at my grandparents' house. It's since been demolished, however. But I played quite a bit with it as a kid. Apparently as a kid, remote-operated switches are just as much fun as the actual trains.

Man, I wasn't kidding when I said it took patience. Dad's been working on his model since I made that last post and still hasn't gotten all the grass laid down around the track. He's trying to make it perfect.

I know a guy who has dedicated his entire fucking garage to his model railroad. He has trains climbing up the fucking walls, no joke.
