It is unsettling, especially considering the already poor handling of resources like natural habitats (required for a variety of essential reasons), agriculture, fishing, waste disposal, and the human component of climate change that is doing things like acidifying and warming the oceans (and thus killing off sea critters used for food and replenishing oxygen, and changing oceanic flow and thus the climates within a large margin of the coasts). Having more people means spending more resources and expending more energy. Population growth really needs to be curbed, though I do not know how it could be ethically carried out.

The only ethical way is for enough people to make the conscious decision not to breed to make a difference. Convincing them to make that decision, however...

The problem is it's the people who we don't want to have kids who are having the most of them. Idiocracy here we come!

CONDOMS and dental dams. ;D Not sure if eating pussy results in pregnancy. Not that dental dams don't have their uses in the STD department, just that they're a little pointless when excessive breeding is the problem at hand.

Are you saying that humanity has jumped the shark? This is one of the greatest sentences I have ever had the pleasure of reading.

In my marine bio class, we just read and discussed an article that talks about ocean acidification and the massive domino-downward spiral that has if this keeps up. Its the most depressing thing I've had to read for the class, more than the whale overhunting practices in Japan.

I'm totally doing my part for humanity and the Earth by not having children. Not only because I'm infertile, but because I don't fucking want to. Seriously, there is way to many of us. I'm not advocationg culling the herd or anything, but I don't see how lowering the birth rate in most countries would necessarily cause economic harm or make societies collapse.

I think we should cull the herd. While I breed prolifically. Like Abraham my seed will be like the stars in the sky or the grands of sands on a beach. Hahahaha

Amazing the world's population is still booming, since all these homosexuals are running around. That was a problem the fundies were worried about, right?
