This asinine vote took place because Obama mistakenly stated that the national motto was "E Pluribus Unum". To the insane bible bangers, this is basically an act of treason from our atheist muslim socialist fascist president.
To those on the right wing who have a problem with history (the vast majority), "In God We Trust" can be found somewhere in the Constitution. Don't bother to tell them that it was added to our money in the 50's as a result of communist hysteria...facts are meaningless to conservative bible bangers.
