So no one is upset with how crappy character interactions are?

Also, I can't stand those haughty, arrogant little fucks. They're also god-awful ugly. Then you may be delighted to hear, if you don't yet have the game, that they are a major enemy in it. Oh, I already figured that out from the opening. That, and I know that Nords and Elves don't get along very well...

So no one is upset with how crappy character interactions are? They seem par for Elder Scrolls games. Your earlier post is correct, Bioware does a really good job with NPC interactions. I personally don't mind bland NPC interactions since the NPCs serve their purpose. Give you tasks, rumors, etc.

The only major complaint about the game (other than occasionally falling through maps) is that the menus on the PC version are buggy and tedious to navigate. The mouse picks what it wants more than what I try to pick.

I'm definitely a bit disappointed about it, but pragmatically they do what I need and that's sufficient given the excellence in so many other areas of the game.

I finally returned to the main questline but then I'm going back out to do side quests and the various factions.
I also have gained two more shouts.

I've been grinding the skills that don't naturally level up with regular gameplay (speech, smithing, alchemy, etc). Those things make a crapload of money once they're decently high level (especially potions), so I can pretty much afford to buy out all the stores at this point... It also nets you a ton of level ups

The game has one redeeming feature for me... You can gaymarry Argis the Bulwark!

*Sigh* So many games that have done this to me. I'd probably be getting this game if my laptop was an absolute fossil that can't handle crap.

I know this is gonna sound stupid, but...how do you dual cast a spell? (On the 360)

Pretty sure you just assign a spell to each hand. Which are the triggers.

and press the corresponding buttons for each hand at the same time. It's not different from casting flame and minor heal. On PC of course it is done by holding both mouse buttons. Raising speech early in the game is the worst pain in the area associated with the sitting muscles.
