Yes, well. You can already see the Morrowind and Oblivion maps in their entirety in the Skyrim game. Wait, what? How does one do this?

Are there a lot of books in this game like in Oblivion? I loved 'collecting' and reading the various books that I 'found' in the previous game.

Lots of books, and bookshelves that will automatically sort and place them for you.

Played Skyrim on my brother's PS3 today. It looks beautiful and was fun to play. I got some kills and got killed a lot. I also took down a frost-breathing dragon (with a little help from some soldiers).
Definitely a future game for me.

I loved 'collecting' and reading the various books that I 'found' in the previous game. Me too. I still distinctly remember first encountering the official Barenziah biography, reading it and accepting it as a reasonable truth - and then a few days later I found the 'Real Barenziah' book series. It was a real eye-opener in regards to effective censoring.

So I'm downloading it right now, and I would like to play as a mage. What race would be best for this?

You'd do well with a Breton, Imperial, or Dunmer. Of those 3 Bretons have the most Magicka, but are fairly weak. Even though High Elves have the most Magicka of all the races they blow ass to play with. Unless you want a challenge, they have a strong weakness to both Magicka and fire, if I'm remembering correctly.
