The title says it all... omfg, do some anti-vaxers really do this?! ...I don't even know what to say. WTF?! As if denying vaccines to your children weren't already bad enough, let's give them "pre-licked" chickenpox lollipops, used gum, and some other kid's spit for good measure. Oh, and some anti-vaxers apparently throw bug-chasing & gift-giving parties for their kids, too (what awesome parents!): ...or you could, y'know, just let them have their damn shots. Good grief, what is wrong with people? Edit: Fixed markup fail.

Oh my god, my brain just imploded.
How can you be so paranoid about vaccinations, and yet so naive as to do THIS!?

Man, wouldn't it be awesome if there was some way to immunize your kids against developing Chicken Pox when they're older without having to get them sick in the process?

Let me remind you that they're sending this shit through the mail. Where people have to handle them. People, who are adults, who may not have had chicken-pox before. And who, for them, this might actually wind up giving them more health problems.
Ironbite-anyone who's caught or admitted to this needs to be charged as a terrorist.

Simple, really: 1. The old addage of "it's better for them to get chicken pox while they're young." + 2. Being too stupid to think things through. = 3. This nonsense.

Why? I agree they should be charged with a crime, but not terrorism. A terrorist does what they do to cause fear and terror. This stupid parents are just being stupid. They aren't trying to cause a panic.
I get a lot of posts from anti-vax parents on my FB, since I'm in a lot of anti-circumcision groups, and unfortunately, a lot of those parents overlap into anti-vax. Good lord, some of the dumb things they say...

It mentioned in the article in the OP why it was a crime. They are transporting biologically hazardous material through the mail, which is a felony. You can serve from 1 to 20 years in prison if you're convicted.
