I'm so glad this school district volunteered to basically finance this kid's future for the rest of his life. Ironbite-in this day and age I'm so glad we've got people like this who'll just...give so generously. ...what? They're (probably) going to be coughing up $$$ because they got the living daylights sued out of them. |

I read the article and saw no explanation for how the school reasoned “He burped, therefore he must be arrested!” Was any reason ever given?

Well... given the fact that I was suspended from school for two days for not participating in gym, that possibly the biggest bitch of a gym teacher on the face of the planet wasn't fired in spite of MANY complaints issued about her, teachers who blatantly ignored any bullying and then punished the victim... given that I've witnessed all that and more...
Sadly, the belching thing doesn't surprise me too much.
I would've loved to have seen the fuckers try to get ME to strip down without letting me call my parents first, though. I'd give them such a lawsuit that their grandchildren would need social assistance!

Pretty much that. This is just really a stupid move for the school to do. But hey, like I said, they're the ones giving this kid a free ride for the rest of his life.
