Well if it comes down to Perry or Newt, Obama's got my vote. Actually, no matter who wins the primary, Obama has my vote unless he royally screws something up. No matter how bad things are, I just don't see them getting better under anyone on the right.

Obama would have to go more right than the right to actually lose my vote.

I'm saddened by the fact that I won't experience the massive dose of schadenfreude that would've resulted from all the fundy heads exploding from the revelation that both the major Presidential candidates are black. They would never have allowed that to happen. Personally I do think Herman is a dirty old man. But over on the 'christian' forms they insist that Herman is the victim of the democrats who have paid all these women to tell lies on poor old Herman. I don't think anyone paid anyone. But if these women were paid to do this then my money would be on someone in the republican power structure. No way in hell they were going to let the choice for president to come down to being between two black men. No way that was ever going to be allowed to happen.

I heard Newt Gingrich is rising in the polls. Rick Perry has no stage presence ("I hope you all vote for me when you turn 21"), Michelle Bachmann is somehow too crazy for the Repugnicans, and nobody likes Mitt Romney. Gingrich has been married three times and divorced twice, and he says marriage is still a holy sacrament for heterosexual couples only. Also, his half-sister is a lesbian and an LGBT rights advocate. Gee, I wonder if they're even on speaking terms. This is like the drama with Andrew and John Schlafly. Who would've guessed? Newt was actually invited to his half-sister's wedding, but refused to attend. In other news, In the speech in which he announced his intention to drop out, he references pokemon yet again.

Obama would have to go more right than the right to actually lose my vote. Is is primarily because of Obamacare?

Is is primarily because of Obamacare? Primarily because he's the lesser of two evils otherwise. Yeah, but if another democrat runs that you find better, would you vote for him (Obamacare doesn't take effect until 2014, but would another democrat president take it if Obama isn't elected)

Yeah, but if another democrat runs that you find better, would you vote for him (Obamacare doesn't take effect until 2014, but would another democrat president take it if Obama isn't elected) It's rare for a president to lose the presidential candidate vote. I might vote for another democrat if I believed that they were better than Obama, but if Obama won the presidential candidate vote, then I'd vote for Obama.
